This is a great interview, but I hate the fact that the interviewer KEPT bringing up Mark. Like sure, it was a big part of his life and career, and sure there are parallels with if/then, but he's doing other work now and he's matured as an actor. He deserves recognition for his other performances, not just Rent.
I get what you’re saying but if an actor is known for one or two roles, then you can expect that you’re going to be asked about those roles. It doesn’t seem like he gets tired of talking about Rent.
Can't help but to notice. 6:15 they show a picture from If/Then but caption it as from Rent. Oops!

This dude was such a funny awesome character in Adventures In Babysitting. They just don't make white boys with that much confidence and personality anymore in the movies. I will say Mr. Rapp didn't turn out at all like I always imagined he would. Kind of a nerdy vocalist....weird. I'm the same age as those two teenage boys in Babysitting. Every time I would watch it over the years as I got older I would see them and wonder what they grew up to look like. Great thing about the internet......I finally had the thought while sitting at a computer and PRESTO. Here is Darrel Cooper all growd up!

The weirdest part is that his eyebrows have clearly been dyed as well, normally they're so pale you can barely see them. I think he's naturally really light blonde, with like almost invisible eyebrows and eyelashes but for some reason it's all been dyed here.
Well I'm a bit late but anyway. He dyed his hair for If/then because Lucas was written with dark ginger hair
