I’ve said before and I’ll say again; the biggest mistake WB ever made was wanting a shared cinematic universe to compete with Marvel. They should have stuck to solo films. Can you imagine how awesome it would have been to have had a solo Affleck trilogy?

@@ishaanimtiaz673 That's what makes the Schneider verse interesting. It makes it seem like a parallel universe, opposite of what we would expect for a Batman. I love aflac's take on the character and wish we got to see more of him. This is a disillusion ed Batman along with being a corrupt one. One who has fallen into a routine but is also self-aware of this routine of combatting evil, but losing so much along the way. He's realized that this method does not work and goes to extreme measures such as the branding. Seeing the dead Robin costume is a grim reminder for him of not only all that he's lost along the way, but it seems that justice itself is impossible even with him as the tip of the spear.

I use this soundtrack to run and it has been very helpful. I walk till 3:15 warming up and at 3:15 I slowly start to Sprint and the speed increases as the track progresses. You would really start to think that you are Batman.

I believe this is still the Batfleck theme...what Tom did in the Snyder Cut seemed like just musical pieces for each of the heroes. I'll be honest, except the awesome JL theme as well as the whole Crew at Warpower track, I didn't really dig his work in the Snyder Cut.

Batman was projecting his own darkness (and fears) on to Superman. He didn't realize Superman is just a man trying to do the right thing. He has all these powers and just wants to help out. He feels like an outsider. He can be light that shows us the way. Batman believes it now.

Every Batman theme fits that particular Batman. Elfman - Keaton, Kilmer - Goldenthal, Zimmer/Newton Howard - Bale, Junkie XL - Affleck.
That's what made their Batman special. Elfman and Affleck didn't mesh at all. That theme belongs to Keaton's Bat. Hopefully Affleck will get his theme back in the Snyder cut next year.

The theme just didn't fit with Batmans character in the Nolan themes. Got me pumped for sure, but this theme, you can tell he's fighting with every ounce of strength to not lose his way and become like The Joker.
When the vocals kicks in, it's him unleashing all his repressed hatred, loss, grief, pain, mania, on someone, or something that can take it. In this particular film? that someone is Superman.

This is the theme of BATMAN in the DCEU, even after Ben Affleck's departure, they should NOT change the theme, even if they're casting Jake Gyllenhaal or Jon Hamm.

I hope they don’t cast either. I hope Affleck stays. WB needs to get out of their own way and let Zach direct. Ben is leaving because they keep stepping on his and Snyder’s toes. They scrapped his script for the solo Batman film. They’re trying to compete with Marvel by imitating them and it doesn’t work.
Wesley Affleck was an excellent Batman. The perfect fusion of the Arkham Batman & Dark Knight Returns Batman, with the fire of The Dark Knight Batman thrown in. The perfect fusion of typical comics Bruce Wayne with the more grisly Dark Knight Returns & Batman Beyond version. Affleck was born to play Batman.
If you’re still salty about Batfleck killing people in BVS, you clearly don’t understand a character arc. He was on a path to redemption through Superman, part of the theme of Superman being a messianic figure. As messy as Snyder’s films can be, I thought Batman was the highlight of BVS. Absolutely excellent throughout.

This actually feels a lot like Danny Elfman’s Batman theme, both in tone and structure. It’s a shame Elfman slaughtered the Justice League score due to the absence of Junkie...
Snaake Yeah, only good new track he composed for it was Flash’s theme, but that’s mostly because it just sounds really similar to the CW Show theme.
Not to mention being such an arrogant ass as to claim that his theme is the only one, even though this theme is heavily inspired by his anyway. I bet Zimmer and Junkie regret that now, don't they?

i dunno why but this background score makes him look like a villain whereas he is actually a necessary revolution... a revolution where there are no gods flying from the sky... a revolution where the actual villains are afraid of a higher entity... THEY ARE AFRAID OF THE BATMAN... he should have been projected as a necessary but undeserved hero... like baleman... but better...bulkier...stronger...a little evil...a little questionable...a little eccentric...a hero who adopted the path of a villain... a true successor of the cape!

Loud thunderous music is nice, but the brooding eerie stuff at the beginning is Batman. Even if Affleck is gone, I want this theme back for Matt Reeves Batman movie.
It is the brooding melody which is mainly the Batman theme I believe. The loud dun-dun is just to emphasize the rage though many mistook it for the theme. I created the video to specifically point this out after listening to "Men are Still Good," the end part of which was first released as the "Batman Suite".

Junkie Xl barely did anything on this album (he acknowledged this in interviews). This was mostly Hans, minus some synth designing Junkie helped with.

Ashraf Anam not sure they will bring it back, because they fired junkie and got elfman to replace him. They seem to be going the elfman route.
Danny was only for Justice League and that again hired during post production especially by Joss Whedon. Matt Reeves can always choose to keep the theme while having a different composer but off course he has to first recognize it as THE DCEU Batman theme.
Ashraf Anam it was a slap in the face to junkie, especially after he had done a lot of work on the soundtrack, only to be fired and his work discarded. i hope he does comeback, and does not hold a grudge.
