- this year i tested these lures above 3 different lakes each one 50+ miles apart they dominated each time! white bass fishing can be the funnest time of the year if you catch the spawn. Now just because they're spawning doesn't make it an easier to find them. hopefully by watching this video you'll get an idea of where they go what to use and where to throw it.

My favorite white bass lures hands down
They say that they do not migrate as much as they are always in the water but just very active during the spawn. One indication that this is true is that Lake Livingston is a dammed lake. The spawn is just as strong or stronger above the dam.

Use the same techniques. Cast at any changes current or structure. Just have a plan don't expect to catch your limit in one spot just because they're spawning. Pick a couple spots to try from if you don't catch fish in 30min to an hr keep moving to next location. Check out my video from today limit from the bank!
Any tips on where to find them at possum kingdom at rhe end of july early august?
During summer it can be hit and miss. I've never fished possum kingdom but i know they have a good population of white bass. I'd try near the dam if there's current there's a good chance you'll get on some. Depths vary in summer sometimes they're 15-25ft down sometimes there eating bait on the surface. But I'd try to stay around the dam if it's running

What weight on that road runner do you throw ?
It was probably 1/8 or 1/16....those seem to work best for me and the anglers I talk to
1/8 in faster current. 1/16 in slower. Go as light as you can and still reach the bottom
