I’m in the process of re-reborning manufactured reborn babies for my grandchildren and daughter. They will still give the same effect of holding a little one. I actually bonded with my granddaughters reborn I recently re-reborned for her 6th birthday. She’s a basic over manufactured baby named Bailyn. She has the most beautiful color open eyes, they’re blue with a soft purple hue to them. I typical basic $30 reborn and I made a bond. So I’ve ordered one for my personal collection. Once I modify them with weight and new magnets in the mouth and if it’s a girl, I add a magnet to the top of the head for hair bows.
If I buy manufactured reborns, I always purchase them with drawn hair. That way they’re not bald or rooted with huge plugs of awful hair. That way I leave myself with the opportunity if I choose to root myself.
Right now I’m in the process of re-reborning 4 at the same time. Having fun modifying the manufactured 24” Maddie. She’s such a ham!! I’m slowly getting bonded with her too but she’s my daughters. I’m thinking of getting a blank kit of Maddie so I can really make it my own. ❤
Maddie’s are so cute!!!! I love the idea of reborning the manufactured babies! What a great option for others who can’t drop a ton on those expensive ones. I think you’ve got it going on there!!! I would’ve loved to continue to reborn but I always feel like time is against me!!! You have a great Sunday!!! 🌺🌷🌸💕

I agree with u 💯 % about everything u said in this video. It opened my eyes a little bit more to this hobby. I've always been afraid to do anything to alter my doll to make her more fit for me as far as what I would like in a doll. So i'm going to do it. I want to put her on a soft body so she feels more flexible and more weighted like a real baby and looks more like a real baby. She looks like a real baby now. But she 's hard to dress and her head leans up a little bit. Her name is Misty autumn and she is a My Sweet Love doll from Berenguer. She was a surprise Christmas gift last Christmas from my fiance. He bought Misty from Walmart and he named her as soon as I took her out of the box from the store. She has full limbs not partial limbs. She is a little bit hard to hold because of her not being flexible enough like a real baby. But I did fall in love with her as soon as I brought her home from the store.
Yes sometimes we have to make our babies our own!!! Don’t be afraid! Just take small steps. 🥰🌷💕
I’m thinking for Christmas maybe getting another paradise galeries doll I tend to go for what they call toddler ones even though they don’t stand up
I do enjoy the toddlers but I gravitate towards newborns. 👶 💕💕💕
Hi Melissa! I'm still really enjoying this series! There was so much going on last weekend that I didn't get a chance to comment on the O video! But I've done both outings and organization and both can be amazing! Thanks for mentioning cube storage! I've used just about every conceivable way of storing my babies and this has turned out to be my favorite ever! I'm a huge fan of reinventing and modifying when necessary! I learned to reweight from the very beginning because since I can't see, the way my dolls feel is super important to me and I didn't want to have to rely on anyone else to read my mind and create that perfect feel. I've done the giving the baby a whole new identity more than once, most notably with a doll that was associated with huge tragedy. It worked wonders! Thanks for putting all these great ideas out there for everyone! I wish I'd had someone to help me learn all this stuff in the beginning!

Great... I have a baby that needs a "spa" treatment. When I got her , her rooted hair was a dark brown.... I have had her about 5 yrs and in the last year the hair in the front has turned black !!!!!!!!!! How...why ? I keep a little beanie hat on her now. Have a great day.
