Her control is amazing and those high notes. Not only that Taylor gives a different feeling to every songs she sings its as if u can feel her true emotions just by listening to the song. Not to mention the lyrics, all her songs are well written.

At the time this song was released I just assumed Taylor got inspired by The Hunger Games storyline, but now with everything we know about her anxiety and battle with living in the public eye this song hits so differently. She is so freaking talented and I LOVE HER!

I think they also are metaphorically fitting of how it may feel living in the limelight, being observed, judged, rated, everybody watches, waiting for your downfall, some are wishing for it, some are actively encouraging it, and some are blatantly, delightfully, attempting to bring it about. Keep your eyes opened, and be aware, that there are those who live to tear others down, usually behind their backs, and you won't see them coming if your guard is down.

The song, the words, the arrangement, is such perfection - an exact depiction of Katniss in the first Games (and subsequent others as well). Well done Taylor. You captured the essence of Katniss in song.
Its like she’s not only writing this song about Katniss, but also about herself. (Which makes the song so much better). Because she has said many times before, that she is in her 20s and that’s normally the time where people make mistakes and figure things out. But she’s not allowed to make mistakes because the media always watches her. So she’s like “I gotta keep my eyes open you know?”

I love all Tay's different styles of singing, this one, especially has such a unique sound, it's really impressive. All her songs and styles are though, just never really heard this song until a few weeks ago. It is really very under rated.
