- Harry and Meghan attended the annual Mountbatten festival of Music at the Royal Albert Hall, as they take part in their final few official engagements as members of the royal family.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex arrived in the auditorium to applause lasting several minutes, and both were visibly touched.

It's not that odd to assume the clapping is for you when you are entering as a member of the royal family. If it was and she didn't acknowledge it you'd complain about that too I imagine.

As some people do not get it, I am borrowing this from CJ Osbourne: The standing O began long before they were escorted in and was for the conductor and orchestra (AS IT IS EVERY YEAR). IF YOU WOULD WATCH PRIOR YEARS benefits you would see that the Royal (such as Prince Philip) knows it is for the conductor and orchestra. Only MM was ego driven enough to think it was for them. She is shameful and the BRF are better off without her embarrassing gaffes.
She is such an embarrassment to 🇺🇲‼️ UK, please know she doesn't represent 99.9% of the citizens of the U.S.

It’s probably the most embarrassing video of Meghan and Harry as they assumed they were being clapped when in fact that walked in as clapping was occurring for something completely unrelated to them. Meghan smiled and gushed in thanks as she assumed her spot, and Harry much did the same thing. Probably good thing they both had no clue it was not for them as that would have made it more super awkward than it already was. Comedy gold.

My personal favorite is when they attempted to crash the event for the anniversary of King Charles' Investiture of the Prince of Wales. They were firmly put in their place several times much to their embarrassment & at the end you can see M rapidly blinking and swallowing like she was trying not to cry.
The people around them certainly realised that they thought it was for them. Just look at the faces and the way they look at the Markles and laugh.
This is one of the reasons why Megan thought she was more popular than the queen. Megan and Harry thought this Standing Ovation was for them.

This has been edited! The standing O is for the conductor and the musicians! They then went into the National Anthem (Harry had to make sure she did not sit down, as she began to do so). The "Royals" are brought from the back to the front AFTER the audience begins the applause for the orchestra and conductor. The bright lights are on the musicians. If MM had the interest and watched prior broadcasts, she would have known the standing O is NOT for them. She is such an egoist that she THOUGHT it was for her.

When the only accomplishment of value you've made in 35 years of life is snatched away from you because an insecure, domineering, petulant, spoilt, narcissistic spouse prefers to use your birth status in another continent to springboard her to false fame and accolades, you don't quickly recover from that.

Standing ovation obviously is for Prince Harry but it embraces too his wife into it as he is not one any more but two in one with Megan.Her presence along side him gives a special accolade and elegance.Its sad that some people are so petty and prejudiced against Megan in almost everything.They have been married for less than two years give them a break.
