- Puerto Penasco aka Rocky Point or Arizona's Beach is an amazing place to take a vacation. I am unsure if its because of the time of the year or something else, but Puerto Penasco was a ghost town. It was a unique experience to have such a magical place all to ourselves. I highly recommend going to Puerto Penasco and found it to be extremely safe and a very pleasant place to have a vacation. Great memories! I've been to Puerto Penasco a half dozen times, and my Late Father had a Villa at Bella Sirena for about 5 years up until 2010. I love the place and the area. So peaceful and there at the tip of the Sea of Cortez has the very best Shrimp I have ever eaten. And huge! I would love to go back someday soon.

Been there once years ago. Took off after work on a friday. Had some drinks and fish tacos at JJ's Cantina. Passed out on a side street. Drive home the next morning all hung over. Also got some cool pictures of the border wall going up. We were running loads of cement powder and flyash down there for the concrete plants.

Its funny you mention that coffee, when I was in Mexico, I was like where's some good Mex coffee in the store, they had none, or just regular I think! I thought it was a thing there but I guess not...

Been to California beaches and i have been to Flagstaff Arizona and so i wanted something different. Do i have to worry about sharks in Puerto Penasco? and what is the name of your area you stayed because i do not want Rocky point where all tourist are located. hey Captain....we are looking at spending 4 months down in puerto penasco next year...we usually stay around Los Cabos (drive from Oregon) couple question for you...where did you guys cross the border? seemed very chill at that crossing point....and 2nd did you see a lot of wild dogs down there? We travel with our dog and have found that some of the smaller towns have mucho wild dogs which is problematic. I didn't see any in your vid so i'm hopeful. Thanks ☮
