Also to prevent a top from bowing, always finish the bottom/underneath as well. If the bottom dries out, which it will if unprotected, it will bow. Especially important for dressers. Learned this from experience 😉🤓

I've been using that same pink-to-neutral DAP stuff for YEARS, except they make it in a tube for filling in nail holes! So easy when moving out of a rental. The whole table-and-couch combo looks amazing. Your energy always leaves me smiling.
I think Sam's calm tomboy energy compliments Danie's chaotic tomboy energy so much!! Dont tell anyone, but this looks more like friendship to me than AG. 🫣

The coffee table turned out amazing. So glad you went with the rustic look. Beautiful centre piece to the new outdoor furnishing. I've been designing a seating and planting area for someone I know. It will be made out of pallets as their on a limited budget with two small children, I'm also going to be making and comby sandpit / paddling pool and some boarder raised planting beds for the separation of patio and grasses area. A load of free pallets and some hard work and she'll have a child friendly garden play area we're she can sit and relax or have friends over for those bbqs and birthday parties.
Love the build! Great job. Tip to lose the crumb catchers…take an 1/8” off the edges to the table top boards and you will get a nice tight fit and smooth surface. Then there will be no crumbs/ debris in between the boards. 😊❤️

As soon as you said L shaped couch, I was thinking how a round table would be perfect. What if you use this one for an end table, have your buddy come back and make a round one together?!!!! Also, it would break up the straight edge look in the space. Do it Danie!!
