ready to be disappointed. you all act like 3.24 was an anomoly... it's literally 99% of leagues youtubers hype up a league off 2 second trailer then it's an awful league mechanic riddled with bugs and exploits. not to mention the 100 nerfs we get leaving room for only groups and ben to have fun. meanwhile still making fun of wolcen. lol
@@ArticulateArena 3 of the last 5 leagues are in my favourite all-time releases for the game. Necropolis quite literally was an anomaly, it was the worst league I've ever played and the league I played the least by far.

@@ArticulateArena Meanwhile us others are able to have fun regardless, as the core game is still good with leagues just being the cherry on top. Sucks to be you, so dependent on temporary leagues to enjoy the game. :)
@@ArawnOfAnnwn yep, even though the league was kind of bad, the core is extremely good! Best of any arpg by a landslide! Still did 100 this league with 40/40 challenges. The core of PoE atm is so fuking good that even a terrible league mechanic like necropolis won't stop me from enjoying it :D

I really hope they don't overthink the league mechanic and make it a convoluted, unfun and slow mess like Necropolis was.
You mention the thematic music used in the teazer: and I think it hints at that we're genuinely have an exploration and high adventure league mechanic.
The music certainly does sound like that type of nautical adventure theme, but Faustus and Dannig turning to look at the farmland behind them makes me think otherwise.

faustus = heist, kalguur = wait for fuse to reach explosion, faustus and dannig = exploding doors after 20 sec!
If they don’t fix T17s and the scarab mess I’m not sure the best mechanic ever could save the league for me personally.

Really excited for the new league. Necropolis was a dud for me so finally got o play elden ring. Must finish it before 3.25 comes out. 🎉🎉🎉🎉

Seriously tho, they called it an 'expansion' and not just a league and I remember those things being different somehow. If Cataan is inspiration for this league/expansion, maybe there's new currency and crafting options that tie in with the 'settlement' theme - get yourself the right set of resources or land under your control and it opens up better crafting options? Combine it with some blight/towerD? Mix all that with the best storyline from Heist and I can't wait - so many ways this could go and all super exciting!
I did notice the expansion/league wording in the forum post, anything is possible!

I skipped Necropolis, didn't like it but I am really excited for this one. I think they might throw us to some lands where we "restore" Kalguur ruins. Maybe like a reverse expedition?
