Well.. anitos is not a religion..
in some published books which makes errors viewing mountaineers' cultural beliefs from the Cordillera Region .. anitos are not being worship instead our forefather only believe in Kabuyan and his son Lumawig🙃

still po anitos are not being worship .. In the Ifugao setting they do not term it as anito
. there is a specidic name for that..

hahaha..dont forget..ifugao is part of cordillera..ifugao tribe is the most fierceless headtakers to all cordillerans..we from ifugao start to forget that practice because of spanish religions..people from the center of ifugao stop that practice and followed it to all part of ifugao..but ifugao traditions and cultures was never change until now.only that headtaking that forgotten because of afraid spanish priest..i say that ifugao was the fearless headtaker because they dont just take heads in a war or any fight but they take heads because this is a part of their culture....ifugao people believed that taking head is a tradition that used to cultivate their rice fields..they believed that using the head blood will make your crops grow well...that is why, before spanish regime..this is happening in ifugao...stories from our great ancestors that they take heads not on their tribes but from the other tribes in ifugao...some even take heads in some part of mountain province..this is the reason why ifugao and mountain province before take heads each other
