if nina tassler gave it a second season...that;s when the whole vampire thing took off...moonlight would have been huge....the writers strike didn't help and we got a short first season...still miss moonlight

Gosh I love this series a lot, and just does not understand why it was not popular back then. Guess it was not at the right time like Twilight or Vampire Diaries. Just wish they would remake this series.
sweetpuppy120489 It was very popular - won People's Choice award 10,000,000 votes. I adored this show still do but someone at CBS just couldn't see how great this show was. A major "cancelled too soon" contender.
I'm still rooting for a reboot of this series because it deserves more! My favorite character was Josef, I miss that series! ❤🇧🇷

I own the dvd...I miaa moonlight.....what could have been if nina tassler had given it a 2nd season...that's when the vampire craze took pff
I read where the creators discussed what would have been had they gotten a second season. There wasn't much, but it's as follows: Joseph's sleeping beauty (Mary?) would have died and he dealt with the devastation that follows. The people leaking the information to Talbot are a group known as The Legion. They're worried about the growing vampire population and plan on going toe to toe with them. Beth's being the chosen victim of the kidnapping and rare blood type are not coincidences. She is, in fact, a descendant of the royal French bloodline, and her blood holds the cure for vampirism. As a result, she cannot be turned even if she wanted to. It all sounds so exciting. The shipper in me has already developed these plot scenarios where Beth and Mick's child is the catalyst that allows for Mick to be cured. That bit being my pure speculation (and hopes) and not a part of what the creators released. How I wish we could have gotten a second season. :-(
sue450 What Would have happened is this...Mick and Beth find out Beth is part of the Cure for Vampireism that is why she was taken. Two Detectives end up killed and last There would be a Human and Vampire War.
