I personally like to snipe every now and then and use the silenced more than the heavy because I hit my shots more. But the heavy is so powerful. I feel like it should still be able to one shot structures because that was what it was intended to do, but nerf the damage to somewhere around 120/127-ish.

I do not agree it needs to be nerfed. Since they nerfed the Hand Cannon ability to one shot fully built wooden walls, there isn't another breaching gun in the game. The damage is fairly stronger than the silenced snipers, but it's a Barret sniper it should do a lot of damage. And it's not an automatic kill if you have 200 health and get hit in the body. The reload time COULD be the only nerf solution at all by increasing the time by half a second maybe. But again, I just don't see how this one gun is the problem with fortnite. There are so many other more pressing solutions such as Skill Based Match Making implementation, phasing through builds, and server performance. You are a very knowledgeable and respectable content creator and player, Marksman, but this is one item that doesn't require a nerf.
I don’t believe he is saying to nerf the damage to build, I believe he is saying that 157 body damage is too much because a lot of people may not have above 157 health so it rewards bad accuracy and even if they have 200 health it still almost guarantees a kill which is not fun to have some lucky kid with bad accuracy come and destroy you

That is the strengh of the heavy sniper, I see the point where the deagle was way to overpowerd but if they nerf the heavy sniper they also should remove it because it's useless afterwards
this is the only thing i will disagree because heavy sniper is super rare to find and it has such slow reloading speed, a sniper should always be powerful that is why heavy sniper is a unique weapon otherwise it will be like normal sniper which doesn't make sense for it to exists in game then.

I adore the heavy sniper, but its basically the king of snipers.
It should have a damage nerf, enough to make it where it wont 1 shot at 150 health even if you get hit in the foot.
You should have a solid reason to pick up other snipers over the heavy, but the heavy has such good utility and damage that if you dont take it over other snipers, its probably a bad choice.
A damage nerf to 130 or 140 would be perfect imo. It wont 1 tap body at 150, but it will still bust any wall and structure like before.

The heavy sniper is not broken just realistic, kind of like how the shotguns one pump and how an assault rifle like the scar is a 3 shot to no shielded opponents. Maybe if it did 135? 140? But it can be nerfed that much, IRL it would kill u if u go shot in the leg, 200 health or not. It a 50. Calibre like cop on.

I understand your point concerning the .50 cal, but it's still a useful way to get into the boxes of stupid people that box up all the time. And there are some people like me that don't camp on a mountain with a .50 cal, they use snipers in a regular fight. To me it's more rewarding and more fun if i get at least150 off a sweat that is building to the moon.

Unpopular opinion - remove snipers from the game.
I think the sniper needs to pick; in it's current state the bolt it worthless. Either downgrade its rarity or buff it or nerf the heavy. The heavy should either be able to 150 people or one shot walls; it shouldn't be able to do both. Or it needs a different bullet trajectory to stop it from being so god damn easy to use. It's such an obnoxious weapon. I agree with you Marksman, the gun in horrible especially when combined with a team that either has to heavy snipers or a solo with a heavy sniper + RPG. It's definitely broken.
