As Dr. James mentions in the video, being a chiropractor is similar to a lot of jobs that require manual labor; being on their feet, and going through the work of giving adjustments nearly all day. Routinely arching over people or bending down for their work can lead to joints becoming slightly out of alignment, and regularly in need of a tune-up with chiropractic care.

For the female doctor/patient, I would assume that the reason why she was wearing the gum boots is because they are quite comfortable, especially the cushion affect on the soles of the feet.
There is another video here on youtube with an ER room, where there is a female medical doctor/surgeon, in her 40's, and wears full calf length cowboy boots.
They are not so easy to see, but she says that they are so comfortable to wear, especially treating patients, particularly when performing surgical operations on people, for which can take up quite a few hours to perform.

Is it possible for someone who has had spinal fusion surgery to have an adjustment? Obviously I would assume you can't adjust my back since my spine is fused to rods. But would a neck adjustment or anything else be possible?
Did you adjust the same cervical segment on both sides? If so, why?

good video but dont compare what you do to manual labor, bending over someone is hardly manual labor. Trying working construction or honestly any trade really all of it involves heavy lifting. Me washing dishes all night is more manual labor then what you do to adjust people, and that's easy stuff. Just saying
his job is not easy you have to know the points in the body in order to adjust it.
