- Sugarcane Is one of the most important crops in the world. it is in the grass family and is important for producing sugar all over the world. some people don't realize that there are so many different varieties of sugarcane juice and sugarcane chewing sugarcane syrup l making sugar cane, as I have become a collect of many things, I find myself drawn and attracted to sugarcane. hopefully this video will bring some enlightenment for the sugar cane growing community.

Thanks for showing the different varieties. The one he ask about may be the kind that's used for commercial use. I don't understand why use those big pots for sugarcane. Use those for your mango trees.

We call those ribbon or mountain cane back in Jamaica. I have the red & green variety also. Yes the green one is soft & sweet
