Yes, I have two CHUMS wallets. One is for personal use, and the other is for work. My job requires a work ID and certified duty tag, so the CHUMS provides ample space for all the necessary documents. For my peronal pouch, I store cards, cash, ID, and coins, plus the benefit of the keychain loop that I place my AirTag instead.
You are very good Moorlander. Very consistent. The reason I say is because I always need the things that you review, after you finish reviewing them. Well done. This channel will be an EDC staple, I can see it. Hold the course Sir. 👏💪😀
I keep an EDC Crystal ball with me at all times. Handed down from ancient druid Moorlanders to help me see what people need. It's steered me straight and true my Trampy fiend 😅💪
Funny this video should come up. I recently went about a hunt for a zip pouch wallet to step up my edc. I ended up with the Alpaka Zip Wallet pro. The three additional slip pockets let me take a Victorinox, a small Wuben flashlight, a pair of tweezers and a small pen in addition to the cards and cash. I love it!!
Hey fella. I spotted their recently update. Definitely makes it easier to carry a few more things attached to your money. Makes the a really nice "grab and leave" option when you're leaving the house
Great vid. Love Alpaka gear, but I still carry a minimalist leather wallet in the back pocket. My Alpaka Hub Pouch swaps between my work bag and edc bag.
Hi Dave... that reminds me fella. I need to pick up on their hub pouches. How do you find them? I really like that 'just the essentials' style small pouch
Very interesting and very practical. In my case, I carry a OneTigris brand wallet that, although it has less capacity than the wallets you show, has become essential for me. Great video and waiting for the next one.
Great options, personal favourite that allows me to put my ID card in is OneTigris front pocket wallet with waterproof zippers. Really cheap and great quality, thanks for the content 👍🏼
You're more than welcome. I filmed this a few weeks back as a buff if I can make any content. In the mean time the weather has turned crappy here 😂 glad to hear you enjoyed the content Sassy 👍
Zipper pouches are incredibly useful. I've got some from Osprey called the Arcane, I use one for my EDC and the other for personal first aid kit (currently just has some plasters in there). It's really useful and lightweight. The one for my EDC isn't ideal because I carry a dedicated wallet. They both fit together in one pocket nicely enough, however it's a bit snug. At some point going to be making a Leather EDC organiser which will be more optimised. However the Zipper Pouch will then get moved to my back pocket to carry my lens cleaning cloths and other bits and pieces.
Great comment thanks. I think another commenter said similar and it didnt dawn on me to say the same. They're a great complimentary addition to sit beside a tradition/dedicated wallet to help organise those smaller items. Which is funny as these style zip pouches were traditionally use as coin purses to carry loose change that wouldnt fit in a wallet. Great comment my friend
I've started getting into the habit now of carrying a few first aid items on my person (not just in my bag) at all times. CPR face mask, some small adhesive dressings, couple of aspirin (dual use, in case of blood thinning or pain killing), etc. Just got fed up of minor cuts being a trip to my backpack and wanted something that was within arms reach at any moment. At the moment that's either in pill containers on my keyring, jammed in a card slot of my wallet or in a keyring bag (keys getting a bit bulky given I also rock a car escape tool on them and an SD Classic SAK) been trying to find a neater solution and I think some of these zip wallets especially with the dividers would be perfect for it. Time to go shopping :)
Well done! Being an old man, I prefer a more conventional wallet. However, the slightly larger models would be outstanding for a personal med kit. Or perhaps as an ammunition container to organize ammo strips or small magazine. Sure would eliminate pocket lint and dirt. (yes, we carry guns here in Texas😬) I can see many uses for a small solidly built zipper pouch that goes beyond a wallet. Thanks for the information and review of these cleverly designed items!👍
They definitely help with a bit of pocket organisation. Have you checked out my Maxpedition Micro Pocket Organiser and Vanquest PPM-Slim Pouch. They're both a similar size and perfectly suited for maybe a few spare mags, tools and ammo. Stay well my friend
I carry a zerofeud soft pouch like that but it houses a flashlight, small pry tool, a pen, and usually a victorinox minichamp or leatherman micra. 👍👍🤙🤙
That's a great point Matt. I didn't really thin about that side of it. They're create to compliment a separate wallet. Some nice pocket organisation that's easy to swap between different pants
I just ordered a Manhattan Portage coin purse and can’t wait. But for now using the chums and has been working super great for me. I wish I could find a maybe leather? one. For times when I’m dressed to impress! lol
I nice supple goat leather one would be really nice. As long as the leather was well tanned and not too thick that would be epic 🤙 thanks for watching buddy
@@MoorlanderEDC that's the one I use to put my knife & flashlight etc in. Even though I also have that Nitecore NPP01, I use the Tigris because I wasn't happy with other things I've tried.
Good and interesting video. For me, I still carry a small bi-fold leather wallet that allows me to quickly get to my cards. While I’ve never tried any of those small pouches you’ve shown, to me, I don’t think I’d like them, especially the bigger ones because you tend to put more stuff than you need in them. As always .. awesome vid 😊.. i sew my own zipper pouch out of xpac .. for the cost of one branded pouch i can sew me 10 pouches 😂.. i used it for around a week .. and went back to my MC Pocket .. you should try it .. austrian designed card holder .. great quality and low price .. MC POCKET. ..

I would call the bottom of the Able carry wallet "bellowed".

I have the alpaka one in OD green love it

I picked up the first edition... I wish I'd waited for the OD green version. That one does look sweet
I forgot mention alpaka just released a case specifically for cables and camera batteries and stuff. You should check it out

Gussetttttt

Thanks Mike. Hope you're well buddy
Looks like the Topo Designs Zip comes in 3 sizes. Which is the size you have?
Hi Zak. Yes, sorry about that buddy. This is the smallest of the three. I think they call it the Micro version. I hope that helps fella
Purses for men, not my cup of tea. They seem popular nowerdays. Probably handier than I think.
Hey Chana... I can't lie buddy. My Nanna had a coin purse in her handbag for years just like these 😆
For my taste, the least interesting minimalist wallet you presented us so far (interesting review by the way :))
Thanks for watching.
