- Just our opinion of the Jimny after using it for the first 800km trip and using it both on and off the road. Super impressed and happy. Also it perfectly fits the bill as the ideal 2 person overland vehicle with perfect amount of storage as well.
Intro music and custom thumbnails! You have finally figured it out xD
Hahaha learning 😁
Though the 3 door is sort of a legend in its own right across the world, the 5 door has been the butt of the jokes for the most part and all this started even before people actually saw the vehicle, let alone drive it. I too had reservations, especially with the added weight and longer wheelbase. But to my surprise I see its doing quite well off road (influencers are going crazy with it). Most off roaders need a skilled driver behind it, but in the videos shared on YT and FB, its making it look effortless. Hoping to see Jimny in action on the channel and of course the mods too.
It is a beautiful vehicle and very very capable.
Now that the eyes are getting “used to” the 5 door format, the 3 door suddenly has started to seem “ smallish” 😀
Earlier many including myself were ruing over MSL not having considered the 3 door as a parallel offering….now beginning to understand and appreciate that the 5 door is actually more practical from an overlanding and adventure perspective.
Thanks !
Exactly, the 5door we have is a brilliant product. People in forums abroad are really waiting for the 5door to be launched there.
Haha
Grass is always greener on the other side 😁
The premiumness can be seen in both the vehicle and the owner's tone.....
You are very underrated, been watching you and i think its time to subscribe.
My sort of guy who knows what he talks .
Thank you
Suzuki Jimny proved champion across the globe 😎
Great update, quite promising vehicle for our roads.
Do share your experiences and insights on the nitty-gritties of rainy camping..
Will do , still learning to record more
That moment when the Rubicon shows up in the frame ! 🔥🔥
I think the jimny is one of best offroader with it's power to weight ratio. I hope they bring in the three door soon to india , it will be a blockbuster if suzuki does that. Another great video .
Another great video. I have been loving your passion and knowledge for automobiles since I saw you on Abhinav's channel.
My favourite automotive CZcams channel
Thank you
Means a lot
this vehicle is next level in practicality
Yes 10/10
I believe it’s a perfect sized vehicle for travelling in India, especially in the Himalayas. Loved the way how you have so neatly packed in everything. All below the glass area so as not to cause any obstruction in drivers view. Good job.
Thank you
Perfect content
Very informative
Have loved all your videos
A to Z
Keep up the great work
All the best
Thank you
Fantastic coverage on Jimney on all your videos! Keep up the great work!
Jai bhai for all the love for Jimny , i would still go for Police Auction gypsy and restore it to my taste with Dr.Nano suspension upgrade and Hard top . With parts of Jimny in the market I think Gypsy lovers have plenty of things to do now .
Me personally , I'm figuring out with my fabricator to put Jimmy's dashboard in my Gypsy to begin with. My friend has a gypsy and gets 14 kmpl in city ( light foot) .... I would still want you to make one video of Gypsy - Jimmy since you have experience of both of these now
A project is always more fun
Jimny is excellent vehicle for an explorer
10/10
Great vehicle with great background
Man I stumbled across this channel and I'm sitting in my office now watching the fourth video back to back. Incredible content brother.
I am on the fence, contemplating buying Jimny. If I end up buying, then it will because of these videos. I am preferring Zeta MT. MT for the sake of frequent hill driving.
You have an automatic one so my question to you is have you had a chance to compare it with the MT ones in your group? If so which one would you recommend for frequent hill driving and also be good enough to be running errands around in city [chd to mohali ;) ]
I would buy the auto for the sheer convenience. But the manual will be great for spirited hill driving
Was eagerly waiting for updates, thanks!
Thank you for the continuous feedback.
Thank you
Beautiful vehicle with beautiful Himalayan background. Thanks for giving us such informative and educative content. Eagerly waiting for my jimny to be delivered 🙌
Good Show.
Nice review and factual info.
JImny besides, Camping site looked amazing and that too just 39km from Joginder Nagar. Will explore. Thanks
😁 thank you
Loved the video JD. Keep such videos coming! Cheers from Bangalore.
Thank you
always happy to see your videos❤❤🔥🔥
Great explanation
What's the science behind deflating tyres ? How can one measure for their own vehicle ? Why is it necessary ? And does the deflation needs to be adjusted according to different terrains? I have so many questions. Would be great if you could explain it in a way that even a noob like me could understand the theory behind it as well as the practical. Thanks.
deflation of tyre helps the tyre to gain more grip surface area, therefore more friction. It is useful in slippery muddy roads, and yeah lighter the vehicle more it is better
so jimny weights around 1250kg with 5 doors while thar weights 1850kg 3 doors so weight is main advantage of jimny 😊
Jaideep please make a time lapse video of setting up camp and specially how u set up 10 people tent
Next time. Still learning video skills 😛
@@TreadTrails understood u have the content and resources and u deliver it much better than other without no non sense talks
Brother i have a personal doubt
Need a suggestion i have 2021 fortuner
Need to upgrade suspension
my driving 85% onroad 15 % off-road
I have 3 suspension in my mind
1 tein suspension
2 OME suspension
3 iron man suspension
Can you suggest me
Ironman with comfort rated springs any day
@@TreadTrails thanks brother appreciate it
@@TreadTrails comfort rate springs means stock springs???? And Ironman foam series????
Door thud ❤
It’s a small car and perfect for the narrow India roads
100%
Amazing content 👍🏻👍🏻
Grt video bro👍🏼
Cant wait for the white jimny and the upcoming upgrades😎
😁
Did you notice any power lag as the larger tires would have through the gearing a bit? Appreciate your comments
Not really
I also went to barot .i was there on 24 and 25 june and we came back via bara gaon, raj gunda ,bir billing route. Lot of broken roads and slush and natural beauty on that route
Yes , that was the fun patch
@@TreadTrails so you also came via that route. I was in xuv awd
Love the tyres you put on but i would never buy an Automatic as long as my legs are working by God’s Grace
Hahahahahaha
Amazing content, also please link the product that you used for camping !
The tyres are not stock jimny tyres, and they look very natural on this vehicle. Also they fit on the Jimny Alloys. Can you mention the name of these tyres?
Yes they have been fitted on the stock alloys. The tire is Goodyear Wrangler AT/ST - 235/75/15
Awesome
AWS job bro keep it up
Hi sir, what tyres should i go for my pajero sport 2015 model? Continental ContiCrossContact CCAT 265/65 R17 or Good year Wrangler AT ST? suggest me best one
I vote for the 265/65/17 Goodyear Wrangler AT/ST
my budget is not allowing me look towards automatic alpha, do you think one can do with alpha manual as the base auto doesn't make sense for the less features. Do you think 5 speed gearbox can be lived with considering the way it vibrates and is not slick
Yes yes , the manual box is amazing
Go for it
Nikhil, the gear lever vibrates as it’s directly coupled to the transmission.Any shake in the engine will be felt on the lever. No worries
@@srschhina5295 i hope it doesn't feel and look that bad and old mahindra's like?
Haven’t driven the Jimny as yet so can’t say how violent is that vibration. Pls consider test driving another vehicle…unless it’s a broken mount can’t imagine a violent vibration at idle.
Perhaps Jaideep can analyse it better…Cheers !
Jimny side profile is good. View from the front is the problem. It looks like a toy car
Great video! Please keep up the good work. What is your advice on 225/70 R15 tyres(sidewall closest to stock)? Any potential issues like de-beading on the stock 5.5j rims?
Good size, will run with zero issues on stock wheels
Hi Jaideep, loving your content with the Jimny, really informative and well put out content. Can you also enlighten us, on whether any Roof Rack/Roof based Tent setup is available in India for the Jimny?
Is this come with rear fog lamps??? I see the tail lights were too bright
Yes it has a rear parking set and one Foglamp
Always a pleasure being enlightened by your knowledge Jaideep. Thank you!
One quick question , do you think the stock tyres can still do what you’re using the Jimny for if you take this trip as an example, nothing fancy, no real off-roading, just camping ? If not then what are these new tyres?
Appreciate it!
Yes of course, the stock tires can manage this easily. But it is a bonus to have tires with better grip esp on a 4x4 vehicle.
The current set of tires installed here are the GoodYear Wrangler AT/ST in 235/75/R15
Please show offroading capabilities of all vehicles on difficult obstacles..
keep them coming...
@TreadTrails how are these tyre performing?
Real good, this one has had loads of on road use and a couple of trips in the rough so far, has been 10/10. Waiting for the snows to begin now.
Great content!!
Thank you
Excellent review , How is the performance of Goodyear wrangler compared to yoko geolander. planning to upgrade to Goodyear.
Great update 👍
How is the automatic on Highway speeds. Only 4 gears limiting or they long geared or is the 4th one overdrive ?
Also i totally agree on jimny being a very good Overlander for 2 plus the benefit of ease of drive in City & hills where its small size will make it go anywhere compared to your other big vehicles
The 4th is the OD, and it comes with nice old school OD On/Off switch also 😁
@@TreadTrails that is a relief. I just hope that Suzuki updates jimny with a proper 6AT in near future.
Nice video ❤
Hi after the tyre size change did u feel any impact on the steering and it’s commandeering aspect ???
Thanks
Beautiful. Will a jimny be able to carry a rooftop tent ?
How do you compare the ride with gypsy ?
Is the ride stiff as in gypsy or is it too soft ?
Firstly thanks to you for putting up such spot on videos, great knowledge, very informative videos…I had one question I wanted to buy a auto Jimny but the waiting is around 5-6 mths. The showroom has recently got one alpha MT spare due to cancellation, they have offered me that veh. Should I go for manual, or is it worth waiting for auto.
P.S it’s a kinetic yellow colour, it looks great now…how will it be over the years 😁
Wait for the auto if you are looking for the convenience 😁
Can you please mention the link from where can I purchase the bag in which you have kept the utensils and all the stuff.
Amazon 😁
@@TreadTrails what is it called ??
How about to install 235/75R 15 geolander at..does it touches the fender?
Yes just the slight rubbing as I mentioned. Not a deal breaker
pls. lets us know how was ur driving experience on highways other than ruf roads.
The ride is very plush and confident at high speeds also, especially after correcting the pressure to 28psi. It just needs a few minutes getting used to the auto gearbox shifting pattern. And then everything falls into place
What tyre pressure would you recommend for the Yokohama Geolander GO15 AT LT 215/75R15 for the JIMNY on the highway ? Thanks
29Front / 28 Rear will be ideal
@@TreadTrails thanks 👍🏼
🖤
you should do a video on the Scorpio N n the changes you guys made
Will try for sure
Booked mine, cant wait.
when did you book?
Is it ok to go with BF goodrich ko2 235/75/15 with stock setup?
Yes , of course
But only if you can find them somewhere 😬
Hi Mr.Chahal, I have a question for you. I live in Patiala, our RTO Code is PB11. Can I get a new car registered at PB99 if I don't have an address there?
Thanks!
Yes Ofcourse , you need to pay 10k as fancy number fees and outstation registration charges.
Install roof carrier
Eventually lots of stuff getting installed 😁
@@TreadTrails oo nice
Will the 235s affect the warranty in any way?
Not if you are nice to the dealership people haha
When are u expecting ur Jimny? Looking forward to see the gradual built up of Jimny…..
How much would you rate the jimny’s comfort level on highways, is it equivalent to a bolero or something better like a Scorpio?
Easily at par with a Scorpio
Always a pleasure to watch ur videos. Great knowledge n beautiful presentation. Wish 🤞 u make videos in Punjabi n Hindi too so that more n more people can enjoy such knowledgeable n to the point videos. God bless 🙌 u
Jaat nd English... 🙂😉👍👍
How does the automatic behave for a normal highway run?
I loved it
One suggestion, Please use videos of actual action with voiceover than stand and deliver
Learning still
Thanks for sharing, would you consider a bolt on turbo kit for Jimny ? Like greddy etc
Of course 😁.
More inclined towards a supercharger though.
Zero lag and more reliable.
@@TreadTrails when I come India I ll buy a. Jimny and come to you to get a supercharger installled :)
@@TreadTrails I seen a video of a supercharger in a spresso I think it was from Philipines, awesome setup
Your jimny's tyre size & its pressure pls
235/75/15 with 28psi all around
@@TreadTrails Thanks. Want to know on road performance of this tyre .Any negative effect on the rpm & speed of the vehicle.? My main necessity is comfortable city ride with occasional soft off road .
Great 👍
Thank you ji
sir is 225/70r15 is a good option for jimny ?
Yes very good size
Sir ap usa to ho
Location was show practically what you were displaying was not clearly seen. Pl ensure where the sub title are placed.
Thank you.
Still learning editing skills 😬
@@TreadTrails it's ok . I hv no problem but the whole picture is overlapped. It's honest opinion, no critics.
Need Scorpio n 4x4 video
Will try doing that as well
Paaji shraaab kithay aa??
4000 rpm at 100kmph is a deal breaker for me
3000, not 4000.
And 2850 after the 235/75/15 are installed
I cancelled my booking. It's overpriced. I booked Thar RWD new colour base variant
RWD is useless.. It can't do offroading like 4WD and On-road ride quality is also not good... Go for 4WD for better adventure
Why look at 4x4s when you wanted to buy a car 😁
@@TreadTrails Ha Ha Ha 😂
Too much over priced for Indian market
Excellent ❤
