My parents were teenagers during that time and they introduced me and my sister's to the music and movies from it including the Breakfast Club, Footloose and etc etc and we love it.

Задолго до Билли, в Советском Союзе слушали девчëнок из Японии Дза-Пинац. Много было иностранных исполнителей и без Америки и до Америки . Так что благодарить их особо не за что.
P. S Была бы моя воля, я бы и сейчас жил при ,, Железном занавесе,, без ЛГБТ и феминисток. Без ЕГЭ и ГМО. Копил бы деньги на Волгу но при этом был уверен что БЕСПЛАТНУЮ квартиру мои дети получат!

What I love about this song just the magic of people being happy and feeling the freedom of nothing of what we can feel people just don't have that anymore
I agree and it breaks my heart for my young daughter. I can describe to her all the adventures of the distant past, and what life was like before being so connected to our phones, technology, etc. We watch movies of the decades past, but I think music is what truly translates how wonderful it was back then, and with music she can still experience some of what I had as a kid in the 80s/90s. Just as I got to experience my mother's music of her growing up in the ,60s 70s. Music is a wonderful thing. And billy Joel, buddy Holly, just a few of the great representations of their respective decades.
