This is such good advice. Thank you.
great
great point about the reg tape I've been running into this exact issue even with the extra trap or stroke, plus the thickness of the film is pretty deceiving which also will affect the end result.
Second question 🙏🏼. If you notice imperfections in prints and you correct the issue, do you then discount the job, toss the bad prints, or buy more shirts and fulfill the order? Thanks again
Great informative content. Thank you 🙏🏼. Question When doing a multicolor print, do you overlap colors in your design at all. Or do you print it as is and just ensure it’s lined up precisely?
Do you use more print strokes for plastisol when using higher mesh screens? I definitely can’t clear the mesh in one pass on my 200 screens for instance. I usually do 2-3 strokes on a 157tt underbase on a black tee shirt. Are you mostly using lower mesh screens to achieve this? Thanks for all your helpful videos, keep up the great prints!
what do you prefer for water based ink? pull stroke or push stroke?
My film seems to stick to my dry emulsion when I'm burning it. Is there a way to stop that?
Yes that indicated you have humidity in the room in excess of 50% - I use a de-humidifier
@@squeegeeandink that's odd than, humidity is usually around 40% so now I'm at a loss
I had this happen awhile ago to me. I don’t know if it was a combination but I had zero issues after doing the following:
1. Let that coated screen dry longer (I try to dry it overnight if U can) and really suck the moisture out with whatever you got (fan/dehumidifer)
2. I ensured the actual film positive was quite dry.
If you’re still having issues with the film positive ink (it’ll most likely be the emulsion needing to dry better so try that first) you could try reversing the image before printing it out so that the ink is against the glass table rather than the screen.
Hope that helps!
