I have to comment on this one because I'm guilty of nagging you for a video giving insight on prosecution so let me start off by thanking you guys. Guys I want to become a prosecutor, currently doing third year at UNISA. I've decided on this path since first year. I'm currently working a full time job in construction and studying part time. I've approached my local district magistrates court and enquire whether i can do some job shadowing on a prosecutor for the three weeks that I'll be on leave in December. They agreed and so for the three weeks of my leave I'll be job shadowing a prosecutor. I'm really inspired by the video because there isn't much information about this path out here so thank you guys keep up the excellence.

And how much do they earn ?
Around R230 000 p.a
The R230 000 is for the 1 year training, I don't how much once you become a district court prosecutor
It depends but they earn more than magistrates up to R1.6 million per annum
I enjoyed this interview but im scared to stand infront of people is it something that fades off eventually when you litigating?
Is it possible to consider becoming a prosecutor without an LLB law degree if i have a criminology degree with the required law of evidence, civil procedure, criminal law, criminal procedure and interpretation of statutes ?
When you do the aspirant prosecutor programme, is it considered the same as articles? Do you become an “admitted attorney”? Since it’s only 1 year long

My question is ...I never heard her mention serving articles ,does that mean being a prosecutor you just apply straight out of varsity without serving articles?
