1973 Chevrolet C60
Up for sale is a truck everyone wants to talk about! We picked her up out of Reno so she's affectionally know as "Reno 911." She started life as a medium duty Chevy C60 that came equipped with a tall deck big block coupled to a 5 speed manual trans and 2 speed rear end. She runs and drives right now on the big 22.5" wheels and semi truck tires. The bed has been extended to get the lines just right and a coat of primer has been applied just waiting a paint job or wrap of your choice. I'd probably go patina and just drive the heck out her! It does have air ride on the back as well but keeps the factory leafs up front. Feel free to come down and take her for a drive!

Stock 366 is such a Dog I put a stroker crank in my C-65 Tandem truck went from 427 to 488 cubes with a mild cam in it ..
1973 still has a points ignition .. It was nothing short of a miracle when I put an HEI Distributor in my .. same one that fits a small block chevy fits a tall deck block BB chevy too .. they recessed the base mounting point .400" to keep them all the same ..

@@incrediblecollection I restored a 1968 FWD 6 wheel drive with a International RD-501 gas motor and a fuller 5 speed.. I put a Brand new 3208 Cat 250 HP Turbo motor and a fuller RTO-6610 trans in it ahead of the 3 speed FWD Transfer case..
The 3208 cat is very good on fuel .. the first one started knocking at 12,000 hours.. the second motor is a Jasper rebuilt with harder sleeves in i tand 3 ring pistons.. This one has 8,000 hours on it and stll running very well ...

Most States ask for an empty weight on the title .. then register it for it's use .. Non Commercial pickup .. Insurance is way higher on 4 wheel drive SUV's because typical owners some times drive like a Moron .. I got hasseled when I registered a Geo Tracker.. but the Secratary of State.. I guess they were debating the amount I paid for it when it was already 10 years old ?????

@@bayareapeezy You don't have to register it for its max GVW. Say the max is gvw 30k, the truck weighs 12K, you can register it for 15k gvw. just don't get caught with it weighing more than it's registered for.

Yes it's too bad you can't bore out a 366 to a 427 because the cylinders are not thick enough
