    i gotta be honest someone interesting or a group of people need to join the game and replay it alot for people to actually come because people will leave your game like 5 minutes after joining when nobody else is in their server

      This is very true from a perspective of a player, there needs to be some sort of QA team that’s ready and willing to be on the game for a bit after release, nobody wants to join a game that has no players in it speaking for myself I leave

    I love these style games, somethings I recommend for the dev is to add a spells shop, armour/weapon shops, merchants for cosmetics, and maybe even a daily rotation shop (so there's new equipment and spells being introduced). That's what I get from seeing such a large spawn, you get to explore different shops.
    Edit: I get it's meant to be a game focused on dungeon grinding but it doesn't hurt to add more flare and aesthetic to the game, that's my whole point for my suggestion to the devs.

      No, as a dungeon game grinder (lvl 200 on dq) and lots of other ones none of those good dungeon games have a way of buying gear, this gets rid of the grind and challenge if you buy all the best gear there won’t be any challenge to the dungeons

      @@Cyanster You and possibly some other players may not enjoy the pain of grinding but as someone who is always playing JRPGS and dungeon crawlers, I love it, I even have friends like this as well. Call it being inhuman or whatever you want, but its the way we are and how we bond.🤷‍♀️

      id agree but for this style of game the whole point of it is playing the dungeon to try and earn the armor and spells not purchase them. dungeon games is THE MOST non pay to win type of games ever

    i did try out the game, here is another thing that the game needs. when you were playing with him, it was easy cuz he was level 91 or something. but when i played alone, i could barely progress because my attacks did 3 damage a hit and they all had 125 health, and fireball only seemed to work 5% of the time. TLDR; make the enemies easier the less people you have in the party

      @@AbsolutelyCorrupt 500k robux on one game isn't much, its about 4999.5 usd. The price to make a game is at a range from about $50,000 to $750,000 (usd) to make an indie game. The lower $50k amount is the total cost for a solo developer, on average, to work for a year on a game. As you add more people, the cost goes up. Yes i know this is Roblox and the prices might be alot lower but people still have to get paid for their work. if you just buy assets then 500k robux might be enough to make a decent game.

    One thing i noticed wasnt mentioned was the npcs just staying in place. I think instead of enemies being spread apart from eachother in groups of the it could be something like 5 2 6 13 people(more spread spread and bigger groups). And in the boss fight i think the boss should have been moving around, using different attack styles and defending itself aswell. Maybe there could be something that shows the player theyve won, like a victory sign or a roar, maybe a death animation where it crumbles and leaves a gem(like the blue stuff around it) and maybe you could sell that to get a spell

    i would say first thing is to add some type of tutorial or introduction into the world of the game/overall view on the story. secondly, add more “color” to the spawn like shop, enchanting, training zones for people to have more thing to do in the general lobby. thirdly, advertisement the key point to success in a selling product is to have a base of customer that will always stay first then expand to the wall of player that play on some occasions, since it’s more pleasing to play/buy something that a-lot of people are doing since it’s a “trend” marketing can make a product of same quality work way better than that that have less advertisements
    when the base of stuff are form they could take on minor thing like: moderation, background/boss-battle/dungeon music, npc and voices add on for them,etc.

    Progression is extremely hard and not very beginner friendly, most if not all of the UI doesn't fit the games' aesthetic. This game doesn't have a very unique concept, and doesn't differentiate from say Dungeon Quest or Rumble Quest much at all. Game's concept needs some rethinking along with a rework to progression and of course the User Interface. The game is currently doing decent due to the fact of RoBuilder making a video on it, but it won't retain a real audience for long. Marketing your game when you're not even sure if audiences like it yet is a horrible idea.

    What I would like to have is to see details. For example those few small stalls on the middle, man them with npcs selling fish or meat, for hp recoveries. another stall with fruits for SP recoveries or alchemy like speed buff or smthing. Made something that like if your worlds is real. What would they sell on that towns. Would like to see also few villagers walking randomly and made them killable so players can try their spells while they are waiting for people/waiting queue for dungeon. Or just a place people can rest after dungeon just chatting. Make a stall that player can sells stuff to other player instead of normal trading. The stall could be cool for people who like roleplaying. Made your game reality where people can feels like they actually live in them

    Imo, attraction comes before the actual gameplay.
    You need graphics and an beautiful UI, those few second first impression are what truly determines whether that players going to even try.
    People tend to prefer trying out game with already an large active playerbase or has potential to last a longtime.
    The UI will be the first thing they encounter, as such, a messy UI will drive them away instantly.
    Even if the game is bad, if you could fool them to at least tryng out one level, you’ve already succeeded in getting their attention, then it’s just to fill in the part where the game is bad.
    Everyone memes the sh out of Raid:SL, but many, myself included, without prior knowledge, thought that it was actually the revolutionary groundbreaking game it claimed to be.

    Just tested out this game on PC. Tutorial is good and clear, not too confusing. I picked mage and joined a dungeon solo. Combat needs hit/damage sounds to feel more immersive, and the short repetitive music loops make the game feel more repetitive, consider using a specific track of a few different songs for each area. Overall needs more use of SFX as well. Screen shake while casting a spell could be dialed down a bit. Custom idle, run, and jump animations for each character would help too.
    For the map design, the terrain rock texture and color gives the map a gray and emptier feel. Darken the rock texture and/or add detail like putting in more models so it doesn't look as flat or barren. Pretty good map design overall (I'm not really a modeler more of a roblox scripter/dev), mostly just talking mostly about the lobby map. I haven't been past the first dungeon though so idk how they all look.
    4:54 this timestamp is pretty useful to look back at btw. For progression, make small on-screen gains for each kill (EDIT: This exists, but just needs to look more colorful/noticeable for better results). Like a billboard gui at the enemy or a dedicated gui that shows +GoldAmountGained and add rare item drops for specific enemies. The idea is that they show on-screen when you get them as well as at the end to show your entire haul for each dungeon so that players are motivated to find more cool loot. Define a basic roadmap of weapons and weapon abilities that players will obtain along their journey so they know how powerful they can become without having to blindly hope the game has a good balanced progression loop first. Make Quests more prominent and noticeable so players actively have a goal to achieve so they don't get bored and leave as quickly. (Add quest completion SFX?) Add a help button for more complex menus like weapon upgrades that at least give a brief description of what kind of upgrades are taking place and where the gold cost is, etc.
    Smaller Improvements: Consider changing the text color for the controls and inputs info (right side of screen) to white or just more visible. Black bar for notifications could be turned into more of a semi-transparent detailed box of info (with more noticeable colors) just to make it look nicer and more noticeable. Make the menu buttons toggleable (clicking the button while the menu is visible should make it invisible).

    I played this game and gave it a fair chance, I got to level 15 and started the ice dungeon. I solo'd everything prior and the ice dungeon timed out because everything took too long to kill. The Stone mine dungeon took a while, but I was still able to complete it dying a few times with 9 ish minutes left when I started out, the dungeon became less hard the more I got loot and upgraded (typical dungeon game) no big deal. The Ice Dungeon I thought would be the same but it was not. I had the same amount of time as the previous dungeon and also went in at level 15, fully upgraded everything, and my items were rare. There was no better loot I could get from the previous dungeon to help me out in the Ice dungeon. I could have grinded to get 30k more coins to buy my second piece of armour that would give me more health. However my problem was not surviving as I don't have lives that get used up if I do die. It was the timer. Not enough time to finish the Ice Dungeon solo and with the beginner abilities (that were max upgraded and rare quality) I went in with. I was not given pity loot or coins for the time I spent doing the Ice dungeon. The 15 minutes got me nothing but 2 levels. The whole point is to progress, If I need to grind levels in order to complete the dungeon before the timer runs out I can see why this is not popular, loot is the factor in doing damage in this game not skill points. If I am gated from receiving better abilities/weapons simply because I can't finish the dungeon no wonder no one plays this game. The coins you get for completing a dungeon are a joke, most of my big coin gains came from the quests that I am assuming do not reset and leveling up. The Ice Dungeon I found myself hoping there were no more enemies to kill to get to the boss as the timer slowly lost time, I got to the boss and got its giant health bar down to 3/4 and then the timer sent me out 7 seconds earlier than what the time said. I most likely would not have killed the boss but it still bummed me out.

    I've worked with countless amount of developers to understand 2 largest reasons why an incredibly "polished game" fails.
    They did not build an active community prior to release (minimum of 10k members in discord server), they did not sponsor any high end youtubers. That's really it, there is no reason for it to fail if the game is well developed

    Ik old vid but i feel like the spots need a highlight of lighting and maybe make the game surroundings darker in lighting so it looks kinda cool with the neon glows and yes def add tutorial and UI def needs more work make it look kinda flashy and like someone else said make it so boss not standing still like a idiots and make the skills of it more consistent along with some kind of warning and have a variety of them like a dash or a beam that follows players in alot for a starter but that's what will make the game more attractive and make people wanna play it more and guess npcs a attack to use like Brits have a smash abily maybe to make it harder in later dungeons add healers that can heal enemies and themselves so it kinda gives priority

    I just decided to play this game myself. I'll be honest. It reminds the most ordinary simulator, but there is one important difference. It's really nice to play. The problem with the simulator is that, as a rule, they get boring quickly. This is a different case. The game deserves attention

    Tried this game last week and pretty much finished it under 6 hours overall, and I feel like one of the major problems is how fast and repetitive the game feels. Dungeon quest had the upper hand because of how unique many of the weapons feel. It really feels like a fantasy game with these flashy weapons. This game is the complete opposite. Many weapons look dull and boring and overall very confusing. Each weapon from what I can tell have 3 rarities, common, epic and legendary. What’s confusing is how you can get a legendary rarity weapon but does terrible dmg bcs it’s one of the lower leveled weapons in the dungeon. What almost drove me off was the mobile version not working. Dashing and running don’t work on mobile, which almost made me quit until I decided to try it on pc. Another thing is the lack of music. Every single dungeon has the same looping music which gets extremely boring and dull really quickly. Bosses are also another negative. Some bosses don’t even move or are any threat. I’d even argue that regular enemies are more dangerous than the actual boss.
    Overall, after finishing pretty much the whole game and getting some of the best gear, a very dull and lacking game. The last skills that u can unlock are very sick though, wish I could say the same for the rest

    Four months late to say this but-
    The reason that the game has no players isn't lack of quality or effort, it is merely because roblox's playerbase is composed entirely of children with goldfish-like attention spans. You'll see games that are purely mashing left click for hours on end in order to gain marginally better stats for PVP, or pets with flashy cosmetic items, that will reach over 10k players at a time. And then you think wow, those games must have something going for them, right? And then boom, wait two weeks and they're dead. Rather than relying on the flimsy and spontaneous attention of kids, one should advertise their game directly to people who would seem most interested in what you are producing, and slowly but steadily grow your playerbase.
    Of course, it means you won't get 8k players hopping around in your game, but it means you will get a way more consistent and devoted playerbase than any other game out there. 50-200 simultaneous players on a slowly growing community is more than enough. Finding people who will truly appreciate what you have created and continue to enjoy it for months, or even years, is the true purpose of making games. Putting passion into something and letting it be appreciated by those who will appreciate it, not just thinking of it as a product you will advertise to the wandering eye of the masses.
    Like Ro said at 3:23. "I can't even say it's failing, it just hasn't seen the right eyes yet".

    one of the main issues is the fact its a dungeon quest and replayability is almost null as updates ruin all your progress in end game. if you get to the end do the best you can and then max out all your gear but a dev releases a new set of gear even better, then all your stuff is wasted and your time is gone with 0 to show for it. also early game things like these are extremely boring in my opinion because its just forcing you to replay the same stage over and over, there is no variety in my opinion. dungeon quest games are just doomed to fail because of the game itself being fundamentally flawed from both an early game aspect and an end game aspect and the only big way to fix it would to be taking the actual dungeon quest out and making it a legitimate free roam RPG.

    from what i saw from that one boss was it looks like there was more effort into the player ability and not the bosses new dungeon games are dying/no attention bc they don’t the type of boss fights dungeon quest has, for example they have there boss have attack patterns, fast movement, and for the most part can’t be soloed you would need a raid team. i hope the creators see this and put more effort into the bosses.
    if I am wrong and the later bosses have better animation and fights i would recommend redoing the first bosses in order to get people to play you have to make the fights feel like they put effort in and earned the rewards they got.

    The things i would change at this game are the animations and the UI, it looks like there is no animations. He spent 500k robux to have no running animations. I like the game concept even if it is not original, I can see myself playing this game if it gets fixed.

    Overall the game is quite good,the only thing that needs improvement is definitely the UI it does not look good at all,and maybe improvement also on the animations,both Walking and attacking,no problem whatsoever on the lobby it looks good just needs a bit of a retouch like make it smaller or just add more features so other part of the map won't be useless,the animations on the abilities are very good so yeah, not really a dead game just not discovered yet maybe do some ads and give it some hype and it'll get some fame.

    ima keep it a stack i hate tycoon games,i dislike games that lack smooth mechanics or i have too grind for days jus too get a weapon that cost 30K jus to make 2k in like 3 days am i working at a office job or will this be a game i can truly enjoy, especially when theirs no tutorial or community promoting the game it makes it even 10x harder too stick around, like slash simulator is a fine example of what not to do in game, another thing that hurts me is when the game has been stuck in alpha or your completely incapeable of playing on console, but mobile can run any game its extremely questionable that you wouldn't start from console, work your way too pc than mobile but the graphics look nice some ppl jus need partners that pride themselves in coding or making mechanics smooth my biggest problem is playing a fps game and i cant adjust the sens thus stuck either moving like a mouse or moving extremely slow i know its roblox but guns,fighting and many other mechanics and ft from the game can be fluid or solved if you dont try to make a pay too win game reasons why horror games do so well imo even if its terrible.

    So I just checked the game and the dev took your feed back really well! One thing is when I was trading some guy put something in the he instantly took it out trying to scam me so I would add a timer each time you remove/add an item so the other person can look at the trade and see if there scamming or not

    it would look even better and feel even better if he adds cutscene and make the Boss is 3d so it would look more terrifying with ofc cool moves with alot of detail (not alot alot so low end pc can handle it) lastly custom animation. I know it would cost alot but its worth to try you might get lucky.

    I'm gonna be honest, I think that most of roblox game developers miss the point. Most of the time you see a long-ass game that is all about grinding all day and spending all of your robux. Me, as an older player, doesn't want to play this sort of games, because I've seen so many. All I want from a nice game is not only a gameplay, but some sort of mystery, story that is untold, so you can actually explore the world around you, and find the meaning of all things happening around you. That is what I've found in Isle, nice story, a lot of secrets, great fun. Saddly that doesn't matter because most of developers aim for kids spending their parents money :/

    It’s funny that this is here because I played this game the other day, but had some problems. The combat from what I remember was just slashing over and over, which isn’t really gonna make anyone play more.
    People are saying it’s hard but I did get past the first couple dungeons solo, it’s really just hit and run. Which again, isn’t that fun, and also it may be too difficult for the younger audiences which is what this seems to be aiming towards.

    my friend was a roblox trader he made over 1mil+ value his dream was to become a succesful roblox game creator so he sold all his limiteds years of work and grinding gone... He went on to hire people to script and me to design maps the bad thing was he hiring random people from discord... and 3 months into the game being made one of the scripters put a bad script into one of the game models and published it my friends account was deleted for posting adult content and he lost all his work.

    I give it a 7/10. The thumbnails are good, but the ui just doesn't fit. The gameplay is good tho even if its a bit like copypaste because theres already dungeon games but no hate. And i think the logo is great and not bad what robuilder said. And the loading screens are awesome! But i would do more gamepass, Advertisement for the group so you build up a Community, and more. I think it could get really good!

    The game has alot of potential tbh.But the porblem is that dungeons are boring.What i mean my that is its not worthy of wasting time in it as u get bored in first 5 mins of the game.I think that they should rework VFX and rework some stuff.As like if i am on easy mode and they give me Enemy npc that can block all my powers is just unfair and then i have to wait for my q spell for it.They should add more animations to it(walk animation more dash stuff etc.).If not so they should change the point of dungeons(so like lvl 2 npc is max).As for other scripting stuff they did it pretty well.Just the dungeons kill hte point of fun.

    The biggest issue here is we already had a better dungeon game come and go. It was niche and I don't see anyone ever playing that game or doing it anytime soon. If you're going to spend 500k, ALWAYS make sure it's an ORIGINAL game.

    In my opinion, are you think there is nothing wrong with the game besides that I probably need to tutorial and A sprint button for the lobby but besides that I don't think there's anything wrong with the game. The most likely reason why it doesn't have that many players is there advertising. Even spending a little bit of robux on ads can go a long way, (Keep in mind You usually want a popular meme or just a basic description in your ad to get people to want to play/click on your ad). You don't even need to spend robux, for example if you go into a group or into a roblox discord server you could even out of the ties you're game there for free! Keep in mind this might be inefficient but some people might like that idea and check it out

    I think the reason why most RPG based games are getting attention is cause they are getting to much repetitive, take for example Dungeon Quest, when It launched it became a fever and everyone started to do the same game style. Not only it made this genre of RPG lacking on the platform, but also contributed to the "downfall" of Dungeon Quest (From 40k active players to 2k nowadays).
    For me the real problem is trying to keep a game consistent and enjoyable, as the more repetitive the game gets, the more people start to get bored from it. The greatest struggle, however, is to make a game that is innovating but at the same time fun to play, and what most people do wrong is making their games hella grindy and time consuming, a factor that stimulates to the downfall of said game.

    This game is really nice but the ui is kinda bad, the graphics are really epic tho, a nametag and levels for players would be nice too.
    Less players playing=more boring, you can't really fix that unless you get alot of ppl playing.
    Also last thing i think, is more things to interact with, or just more stuff like a timer, different ways of attacking, like the ennemies can also have special attacks, and you can for exemple use cannons to hit the ennemies.

    U need better effects,the fireball just passed though the enemies and the effects seen in vid has like no impact,they seem like floating purple spheres,u need to fill the impact when u fire a skill and hit don't know about the sound cause it was muted.

    Cash shop is a little too cheap, anyone can easily p2w it. Also the fact that you can buy and equip op weapons at lvl 1 that range from 100 - 1000 robux. Dev needs to at least change the equip level requirement to a higher lvl because players who have robux will mostly like buy it, play for a few hours and leave game cuz its too easy. I think the game has potential though just needs a rework on animations, UI, and item/shop values.

    I also suggest hiring an animator, as the running animation was questionable and the swinging animations for weapons were quite mid. So That's my take on it. And Yeah the UI needs some work.
