- In this video, I have talked about the LUMS fee structure and details comprehensively. Moreover, I have included all the other basic expenses that a student has to face while studying at LUMS. Information about the scholarships, financial aid, and loan to cover the students' expenses in LUMS is also shared in this video. The information in this video is gathered from the students who are studying in LUMS. This video will be enormously helpful for people who want to get admission in LUMS and are looking for options to cover their finances when they study at LUMS.

Very informative video. Overall fee for CS per semester z almost Rs 800,000+. Currently, the fee is increased . Last year the total fee I paid was RS 1.5 million+.

Yes matric score matter and you can take SAT, LCAT or any other test that is acceptable to LUMS. Please visit LUMS website and there in the undergraduate admissions eligibility criteria you can find the tests you can take. But one test is compulsory so you can choose any.

Yes.. you should consider applying to LUMS

Sir, my acceptance letter has not come but my FSC is now completed, so if I take this year in the gap, i.e. take the gap and score well in the sat and apply, then will LUMS give me admission, LUMS will say that this is your gap, that's why we don't give you admission

Firstly, I would suggest you to consider other options as well because doing so you can get admission in another university and apply for LUMS when its admissions are open. But for the gap year, this usually is not an issue. Even if you take a gap year it will not affect much on your LUMS admission. But it will be wise that you take admission in some other university and then keep applying for LUMS.
And yes you can apply for the financial aid and hopefully get it and also consider applying for NOP scholarship.

Does LUMS give 80% to 100% financial aid to its students? ( not talking about NOP).
Such case is then best suited for NOP.. but still if someone has missed the application deadline for NOP then applying for financial aid is still an option available… and the percentage of the financial aid is decided by LUMS after evaluating the financial information and documents of the applicant

W.salam… Although it can’t never be said with certainty about the admission but given your marks are good so I think you have a good chance of getting the admission so you should consider applying.

Can you please tell how can we avail scholarships in MS Biology program?
There are not many scholarships available for MS in LUMS… but in MS Biology there is probably available full scholarship to the applicant having the highest marks during the admission. And option of loan would also be available. But I would suggest you to visit MS Biology program LUMS website and find more specific details about this.

There are no single rooms in the LUMS hostels. And about your second question, I am not sure about it. Try sending them an email.

I’ll try to make another video on the monthly expenses of a student at LUMS. As this can vary for every person so I would like to discuss this in a separate video, dedicated to this topic. And thank you for sharing this idea.
Secondly, for the financial aid, it is usually applied while submitting the application but I think there should be a possibility to apply for the financial aid later, but I would suggest you to email the Admissions Office and ask them if this is possible.

LUMS undergraduate admission is quite competitive but still you should give it a try but at the same time keep other options open.

@@Abdullahkhan-sm5qe yes there is the test you have to take like SAT or LCAT. Moreover, your application form and personal statements also play a role. You can work on all these elements to increase your chances of admission.

Congratulations and the syllabus and everything will be provided to you when you will come for the summer coaching session. Give your best shot during the session, it will matter for your NOP scholarship and admission.

Sir how much food cost if we eat from PDC?
There is a variety of options available to eat at PDC. But usually it costs around Rs 300 to Rs 500 depending on what you choose.
what is the scene about merit scholarship?
Usually merit scholarships are not very common in LUMS. But in some programs merit scholarships are also provided to students who perform exceptionally in their studies. You may need to visit LUMS website and see what information is given about the merit scholarship in your program of interest.

And if you need further assistance, you will have to apply again. So, You never know it may continue or not. If you talk about Loan, it’s also a risky thing to do. @m.faizannaeem I wish you all the best and if you can’t find a suitable funding option at LUMS, it’s fine to look for other universities. There are many other good universities in Pakistan and if a person is dedicated and hardworking, they can achieve great success irrespective of from where they have graduated.

Yes… LUMS Economics and Political Science program is offered and it is quite good.. And application timelines for SAT score submission, NOP application and online admission application submission are different. Please visit LUMS website and you can find the timeline for each.

PhD is fully funded at LUMS.. which means you will not need to pay the tuition fee and other relevant fees and PhD students are also provided with a monthly stipend. But I think PhDs have to pay their hostel dues by themselves.
