My fav was DQ (I woke up from sleep immediately 😅), Kyra (she was too good for a starter), Amitabh (too too too good), Kamal H (I missed him so much half way in the movie), VD (handsome as usual with the character, so apt). Shobana and Veera character did justice. I don't know why felt like Prabhas trying to do something and didn't attract much. Too much rebel rebel tagline. I only felt awestruck with his Bahubali image. Loved all the suprise cameos.

I loved the glimpses of Mahabharata and loved how it stayed true to its facts. Krishnan is said to be dark complexion and the men in Mahabharata have a godlike super human presence. Which shows why Aswathama is gigantic. And my god the divine Krishna’s voice made me feel god’s presence. I’m a huge believer and fan of Hindu mythology and watching it come on screen was a treat to my eyes.
If Nag Ashwin ever does a Mahabharata movie, it’s gonna be otherworldly.

No doubt it is visually inspired by many many hollywood movies but the production is excellent. Nagi has effectively used those copied/inspired elements very well in his original story so it was really more like paying homage to those great movies. Shambala is like Wakanda the tree is like the one in Avatar, Ashwathama is like Gandalf cum Hagrid, Yaskin like Voldemort, Kashi looked like the city in Blade Runner, Bujji is like Kit in Knight Rider :) so many scenes look like Mad Max, Star Wars, Dune, Transformers etc etc.. maybe each and every scene could be inspired from some movie. The point is he had his story and he fit these various elements from the different movies into his story very effectively not stitching all scenes incoherently and making a mess. Graphics are top notch and this is undeniably a triumph for the director and a huge milestone in the Indian film industry.
