Today, we're making Korean Jjolmyeon Noodles - spicy, chewy noodles! It's one of my favorite spicy noodles in Korea. Typically, this is served at Bunsik shops in Korea - but it's always plain. I thought it could always be improved... and I'll show you how ;-)

Slicing cabbage as fine as a mandolin slicer is quite an advanced cooking skill btw XD.

Thanks for the video! Do you guys have a white kimchi (non-spicy) recipe? I've been looking for one and seems like a good video idea for friends who can't handle any spice.

just a tip… for people who can’t handle really spicy kimchi, they can rinse it in water right before eating it. you just swish it in water, and it will make it less spicy but retain some flavor. this is done often for kids or other people who can’t handle spice. you can make white kimchi without spice. i think maangchi might have a recipe for white or water kimchi. just use less peppers in it.

Can you write out the recipe for the sauce? I prefer to make my own so I know what’s in it. I don’t like to use prepared sauces. Thanks so much!

Wow, you both look SO DIFFERENT from last time I saw a video of yours, which was right around the time of your wedding.
I'm kind of disturbed right now - as if I've been unknowingly transported to a parallel universe where everything is just a tiny bit different.

A damp paper towel under the cutting board will keep it from doing the "slip and slide....Hey, where's my finger?" routine. Just saying.
