I'm not sure who's the original singer for Killing Me Softly, it's either Lori Lieberman or Reberta Flack, all I know is Fugees made a cover of it.

Charming accent, sweet smile, an awesome drummer/singer and in a popular band. Why wouldn't she get all this attention? I like how her vocals were put to good use in Awake. I hope that they make a track with only her voice in the next album. That would be awesome. I can't wait to hear what John and the others will come up with in the near future. And I also hope some day soon they will come out with another worship album. Can't forget where they're coming from. :) God bless you all.

The original is Roberta Flack and it's actually called 'killing me softly with his song' but I actually prefer this version, think Jen is an amazing drummer and singer! She's a good role model for anyone! And also an amazing inspiration for me

children, you don't realize- this is a really old song and sung by many. I was going to say Petula Clark, but a search turned up Gene Pitney, who probably sang it a decade before her.
@Hippie3851 Okay, well Ben loved playing with Skillet, but he decided to do other things, Jen is only like 22 years old, she's young. Yes, she LOVES playing with Skillet, but you never know, she might want to do something else in the future. Like Skillet's former drummer retired, not everyone wants to do the same thing for the rest of their life.
