I've just ordered mine, excited for it.
Although you can't lube the spring anymore doesn't mean you can't lube the core like the contact between screw and the center piece itself and it will prevent your center piece base worn out to much until it break dont ask me how i know..
if i felt something crawling on my foot randomly i would cry and vomit

Good vid mate. I like the Gan 11/12 video too (saved me some $$$). I'm new to cubing and loved the RS3M Maglev. So much that I got the WRM purple. Will you be doing a vid on it?
7:09 This is what happened with my GTS3M! No matter what, I can't get a single other cube, small, big, expensive, cheap, even lubed (with stardust), as fast as this b*tch. I have it on the tightest settings and even have nebula in it. It's so fast it generates wind when I turn it and if you flick the U layer hard enough it will levitate for a brief period of time, while still being really stable and corner cutting better than my expensive Gan.
And I'm about to buy the maglev conversion kit for it. This is going to be good.

I love the RS3M 2021, so much so that it is my main.
Got the purple wrm mainly because,,, porble. Not certain how I like the maglev, I do think that in the future manufacturers have to change out the tensioning system since eg with the moyu one on maglev after 3 clicks it becomes unbearably tight (linearity of the springs vs magnets being exponential).
However when lubed well it feels very satisfying and since you enjoy the lowest settings anyway I'm very interested in seeing your reaction to it. It really feels quite different to the regular wrm21

Ew, I really hate Vortex smell, and I also hate lubing the core, so I'm really happy about Maglev. And I'd recommend the RS3M Maglev to any beginner because it's just fine without any lube - or you can get just one lube like Martian and not worry about a thicker lube for the core. As the most budget cube, I recommend Meilong 3M - it's more stable and cheaper than the RS3M, great with the stock springs.
I got both RS3M Maglev and WRM Maglev. Currently playing with the purple worm and loving it. I'm waiting on your thoughts on that one :)

my reasoning with not necessarily recommending the rs3m 2021 over 2020 to some beginners is because some people _know_ they want to try speedcubing, and they're probably willing to spend $15 on a speedcube. however some people arent entirely sure and maybe want to get a cube *before* they decide whether or not they wanna be a speedcuber, and for those people i think even though in reality it's a small difference, $8.95 feels like a lot less of an investment than $14.95 so they'd be more willing to buy the cube (and hopefully get addicted lol)
the meilong is another good option but i personally just dont like it as much, and again when im trying to convince someone to get a cube it's easier to say "this is the cube i use and get solves under 10 seconds on", and if i say a cube is "good but i personally dont like it" they may end up with a bit of doubt in their mind and that might hold them back. i dunno, maybe im overthinking this haha
and i REALLY need to get my hands on the maglev wrm haha, like i said in the vid i didnt think maglev would make a difference so i just got the rs3m to try it and say "oh it makes no difference", really dumb on my part lmao. maglev wrm video is definitely coming.

Vc deveria tentar colocar o maglev no wrm 2020 e ver o que acha. Eu fiz isso e virou meu main. O cubo ficou incrivelmente rĂĄpido e mais leve que o rs3m (o peso do rs3m maglev acabou sendo um grande ponto negativo para mim).

I just dug out my 15 year old original rubiks cube and I have been fiddling with it for hours and I managed to solve it.
So I bought this one, I am german and there is a german seller who lubes it and sets the tension for you for a small fee so I am pumped to get that one.
This might be my next rabbit hole, its great to keep my mind active when trying to kill hours.

thatâs a very good point, but perceived value is very different from actual value, especially for someone whoâs very new to a field and somewhat apprehensive about it
also for some people $15 really is a significant amount of money
