    The FitDesk 3.0 is the bike desk me and my kids have been using while working and doing school work from home.
    It's an easy way to maintain active while seating down.
    To me it's almost like cheating because I'm focused on the work in front of me while my legs are moving.
    It's a great exercise bike desk to avoid being sedentary while you work.
    Is it the best bike desk? Well look at its features and compare it to others.
    It definitely does a great job as an exercise bike desk.

      I click the link and it redirects to Amazon.com which I was not expecting given the URL. Is this correct? Also, can you provide the link to the mat on Amazon that we are supposed to add to our cart separately that will be for free when we check out? Thanks.

    I think you can also pedal backwards, right?

    Thanks for the clear, comprehensive review! No useless rambling and very to the point. Doc- reviews of other desk bikes express disappointment for shorter people. Then it’s a huge hassle to return. Would you say this bike would comfortably work for a 5 ft 2 inch person?

      Glad the video was helpful. It does have a big range of seat height adjustments.
      I'm 5'7" and I can still bring down the seat further down if I needed to but can't say exactly how someone 5'2" would feel on it.
      According to the FitDesk website, anyone between 4'10" and 6'6" can use it.

      Cool- SOLD! I wound up buying one yesterday and am excited!! I had 3 recumbent bikes in mind but your video helped me make the final decision. Keep on pedalin’! 💪🏽👍🏽🚲

    I've had the Fitdesk 1.0 since 2013, and it's falling apart, the desk barely hanging on, old style desk, and the puppy ate most of the pedals...
    So I've really thinking of replacing it with the 3.0 with the better seat and desk extension.
    I love the new desk design.

  • @GoldenGodDennisReynolds

    Hi Doctor, thanks for your review. I’m considering buying one of these but have seen some people complain about the seat being uncomfortable and was wondering what your opinion is. Many thanks.

    Just bought a bike/desk on amazon. Never saw the fit desk. What I liked about mine was that the desk portion had 3 ranges of motion, especially towards me and up. I can’t look down for long periods - main reason I didn’t just get a stationary bike with a tablet holder... who wants to stare down at the ground ?? Only the peleton and the Nordic Track had nice elevated biomechanically rational tablet placement, but not the cheaper ones. Too bad I didn’t see this one. I looked at the images on the fit desk website and the woman on the bike had to look down at the screen though... just can’t do that. Is this one magnetic resistance, and does it have a weight limit?

    • @drjoseguevara
      @drjoseguevara  Před 3 lety

      Yes, it uses magnetic resistance and the weight capacity is 300 lbs

    Thanks for this review! I'm wondering if the arm rests/massagers are adjustable to different heights or even moving them out of the way based on usage. Thx!

    • @Ef-ny9yv
      @Ef-ny9yv Před rokem

      Yes, you can unscrew and completely remove the bar with the massagers.

    How does the exercise you get from this compare to non-desk models? Does it hold up to extended use? How are the pedaling and resistance?

    • @drjoseguevara
      @drjoseguevara  Před 3 lety +1

      I use it every morning and it works just as good as non-desk models. You have a resistance knob to change the resistance to whatever you want.
      Pedals feel just like a regular bike. For me it's just mindless exercise while I'm working on the laptop so I don't put it at the hardest resistance when my attention is on the computer.

      @@drjoseguevara thanks for the review! Does the calorie rate adjust to reflect the increased resistance or speed?

    does this bike lean to a recumbent position say if you aren't using the desk all the time?

    • @drjoseguevara
      @drjoseguevara  Před 3 lety

      It doesn't lean back. You can adjust the seat up and down.

    I know the Bike Desk 2.0 has an adjustable sliding desktop (i.e., forward and backwards). Does the desktop on the Bike Desk 3.0 also have an adjustable sliding desktop? Meaning can you slide the desktop forward and backward to account for the user's arm length, allowing the user to sit back against the backrest and not have to lean in towards the desktop to use your laptop? Thanks in advance for your assistance.

    • @drjoseguevara
      @drjoseguevara  Před 4 lety

      Yes it does. It has a knob on each side below the desktop that allows it to move forward and backwards. Forgot to mention that in the video. Thanks for asking.
