Best mods i've done to my clio: powerflex black series adjustable bushings (adding caster and camber), spoon rigid colors front subframe, quaife ATB lsd, AD08R tyres on OZ ultraleggera, DS1.11 pads and brembo HC discs. Also have an akrapovic (and other stuff), but it's not really a performance mod, just makes a cool noise and removes at little bit of weight to the car. For the track they are great, as a road car it's a little bit stif and not the most powerfull engine at low revs. I've also had mine remapped and it basicly made no difference except the engine now stumbles first minute when it's dead cold :-|
holy F1 V10s from the early 2000s - best sound ever ... sure Im biased by hearing this growing up, but no way beating it
and for those not in the know Strycek (Volker) was the main man at opel motorsports and also raced in the DTM and still owns a DTM Calibra race car (i believe)
A few years ago I was looking for a used hot hatch as a semi reasonable daily. Drove so many of them and still couldn't decide - untill I had the pleasure of driving one of these Clio RS. Bought it on the spot. The Performance of the engine is not that impressive but it fits the car quite well. The Recaro bucket seats, the steering, brakes and suspension on the other hand are out of this world. It always puts a huge smile on my face when driving it. Hats off to the guys in Dieppe. :-)

Love the Clio, they are very popular in the UK - although the Fiesta ST has overtaken it w with the last generation.

UK driver who finds no problem with the steering wheel and gearbox being on the 'wrong side'
I drive at the normal left side, but anytime I drive JDM cars it only take like 10-15 min to get used to it in traffic.
Had a friend of mine drive me through twisty roads on a 182 once.
50kmh max but he was doing 140.
It was amazing.
Also he tracks the car and knows how to drive.

Excellent as ALWAYS Misha my friend!!! Those new cameras are great!!!! As for the new Clio, it does look & sound interesting BUT, here in the states, I've never driven or even seen a Renault that wasn't a complete POS. I like the looks of the new Alpine A110 & have always heard good things about Clio's over the years but I doubt Renault will ever return to the USA.
@Misha Well, every Ferrari is kind of special. The 16M Scuderia is the Spider version of the 430 Scuderia.

Regarding the gearbox it's the only the synchro's for 3rd and 4th that are weak other than that the gearbox is ok. Just have to be carful downshifting for 4th and 3rd rev matching would help.

Of course 16M Scuderia is special :D 20 more HP then regular F430 and 80 kg less then F430 spider.

How about adding an exhaust system to the Clio. Just a thought as people get intoxicated with the sound as you go through the gears.
In Germany you are pretty limited on what you can do with exhausts, especially since a year or so ago when they started new legislation because some idiots found it funny to rev their aftermarket extreme loud exhausts in quiet neighbourhoods at all hours.

A V10 O.O. This Sound. Awesome, just awesome. That sound is the best that ever could get out of a car. So you paid for a Media Licence for a VLN Race that you cannot participate in? Kind of a Bummer, isn't it? If there only was something available like looking into the future, huh? The video quality is good. Maybe if you film the same in the same conditions with the two different cameras you could see a difference.
I will use the license for the next VLN!

I've asked you about this car already but I'm surprised you're talking so good about the Clio! Is the Clio better car then the megane 250 cup ? they are both cheap cars in the UK market
Both are really good, Clio is more of a "toy", incredibly fun, Megane is more serious, it will get you better lap times, more headroom when it comes to tuning etc, but it's heaps of fun as well. Both really good cars, can't go wrong with Renault Sport chassis, they know what they're doing :)

@@MrBebert77 yeah, this is weird. Either there are cup cars without recaros(regional differences?) or the sears has been exchanges with the non-cup. Which can happen as recaros are a bit too wide for some people(e.g., me), while stock seats are perfect fit

Clio with there shit box in my country megane og Clio every one had a box isdueissue gz😂 Ford WAS the worst AT RS ecoboost all engine problem and box problem.. Stay away from both brand if you are a civilian.. What you should buy is the EB03 TOYOTA civic type R bullet proof and as ugly as it's GOOD.. ppl do underestiamate this car alot.. newer civic stay away they box issues as WELL FK8 and FK2
