My most favourite wartime story, in more recent times. GOD has turned the tides for Israel. And HE will always does. And Israel will never again be uprooted from the land.

This gave me goose bumps. I am Christian, but feel a strong kinship to the Jewish people and Israel. I almost went to Irael one time. October 1973 - Yom Kippur War. I was in the 82nd Airborne, and around Zero Dark Thirty Hours, the entire battalion of the 1/325 were rudely awakened to be deployed somewhere in Israel, and as I recall, to be a part of a 'U.N. peacekeeping force'. We were sitting on the Green Ramp at Pope AFB, getting ready to board planes bound for Israel, when we were told to stand down. Israel had managed to kick some serious butt, and we were no longer needed. Despite actually doing nothing to help, I feel a strong connection and alliance with Israel.
As a Jew I want to thank all my Christian American brothers and sisters for your support of Israel. I just completed two weeks of volunteering at an archaeological dig with over a hundred Christians. I truly felt their love of Israel and the Jewish people. Only through the combined force of the Judeo-Christian ethic can we defeat the evil of today’s progressive woke agenda. Please come visit Israel.
@@davidgoldfarb7470 I would love to visit Israel, even live there for a few months. That is really the only way to get to know a people and their culture. I am almost 70 now, body riddled with arthritis, and slowed considerably with some wicked sciatica, and other issues, so I wouldn't be able to get around like I used to, but Israel has been on my bucket list for a long time. Thank you for that invitation.

THANK YOU for this video. I was 15 when we were horrified to see Israel attacked by an overwhelming armed force from multiple Arab countries.
I remember we all prayed for Israel as we watched for news. We asked God to deliver Israel. We weren't the only Christians to do so. When so many were killed and wounded, we wept and prayed. When Israel took Jerusalem, we knew our prayers and the prayers of many others, Christian and Jews, were answered. I remember all of us being so happy. I can't recall if we just had a celebratory meal at home or if we went out to eat (a rare treat back then), but we celebrated. My cousin was out of state at college, and I remember we called him, willing to swallow the then-sky-high cost of what was a long distance call, to celebrate with him.
Now that I have learned exactly what my faith means, I have learned that the ties between heaven and earth are not as distant as some think.
THANK YOU for sharing the miracles behind 1967. God fought that battle for His people, and the battle was waged also in prayer of Jewish and evangelical allies around the world, people like me and my family, who loved the Jewish people.
I know our current president is so far from God, and he believes because of the religion he claims (which he blatantly disobeys) that no matter what happens, he's going to heaven...but to set your face against God's people and His holy city is to side with the loser, the devil...and to incur God's wrath. When the time comes that the Messiah sets His foot on the Mount of Olives, it won't matter if Biden betrays Israel because God will fight for His people. Remember Gideon, whose army was tiny compared to their enemies. God fought for them and they won. Deborah and Barak, and Jael, also, the Lord fought for Israel and they won. I believe this time, when Israel seems alone, the world will finally "get it" - all the opposition to Israel since 1948, when Israel became a nation again, the odds have always been against Israel, and the enemies of Israel still don't get it: God wants Israel right where she is, and He will keep you there. Christians mostly believe we are close to, if not at the beginning, of what we call the "end times." We feel that Messiah comes first as the suffering servant then returns as the conquering general of the Lord's army. I don't insist you believe that (though I'd suggest a peek at Isaiah chapter 53 & 55), but offer this as info. Evanglicals are confident God has your back and we will do what we can to help. Always, always, you have our prayers. Both my husband's family and mine love the Jewish people, and my husband has a big family. All of our friends, even secular ones, are pro-Israel. I am ashamed of the Protestant denominations that have come out in support of the terrorists. I care deeply about the Arabs...I have read the Quran and sunna, and I can't imagine following Islam with what Sura 9, I believe it is (may be 6 as I tend to reverse numbers in multiple ways, so I apologize) is very difficult for me to fathom the extent of the directions. I read it first at 16, over weeks...there was an English translation in the reference section of the library so I had to keep going back to finish it. There were no translations of the Sira & I didn't know it existed. I was able to reference one of the hadiths, a partial translation. Later, as material became more abailable, I studied it more & got a more complete picture. More people out to read the Quran & Sunna before they assume things that aren't true. Anyway, at the point I finally "got" my faith, I decided to pray for them to become Jewish or Christian (the latter is probably more likely, but if they're evangelical, they will understand that Ishmael got a huge blessing, and shouldn't covet Isaac's - surrogate motherhood is always trouble). If they're evangelicals, they will recognize Israel is there because God wants it there.

That's fascinating to hear what the perspective would have been from back in those days actually seeing this live, I cannot imagine how momentous this would be especially if you are an evangelical and put this much faith in prophecy and the Jewish nation. You'd probably hate my family as much as you hate Biden (it is a sin for any Christian to doubt or belittle the faith of any other), as they came from the same northern Democrat Catholic background as him, but I don't recall my grandma mentioning this although she told me about WWII and blackouts and that sort of thing. I actually believe my family has Jewish roots and I want to be the one to determine this and inform those who are still alive since I have such respect for the Jewish people; I FEEL Jewish, it's like something in your blood to know you are so belittled and hated but have God's protection and blessing. The Catholic idea of suffering for God is embodied by none other than the Jews, I believe, and we can gain such inspiration from them. My family moved to the evangelical South where I was born and so now I'm around this culture more and though the political leanings and certain beliefs are repugnant, as are those of an increasing amount of Catholics these days, I do have respect for people of this persuasion. I think the media's depiction of evangelicals as white supremacists is just lazy and stupid because the 'non-denominational' church I tried for a while had one of the most diverse memberships I had ever seen, a core evangelical belief is that people of all nations are God's people and this is commendable... I just hate how they all go so extreme conservative and believe such horrendous things as a bloc.

Very well done and moving. But we were not so much returning to Jerusalem, but to Sovereignty over Jerusalem. Jews never left Jerusalem; we were driven out of the Old City, where by 1850 we were the majority.
At that time I was fourteen years old and I couldn't even sleep, praying every night to the Eternal... Israel has a sacred duty and right to guarantee the possession and safety of the holy places, as well as the safety of all its citizens anywhere in the world.

Imagine being the soldiers in that detachment, woah, after how much the Jews had suffered in 2000 years, being the first among their people to bring their full presence back. Non-religious and religious both, this is how God works, getting to go there. You cannot describe just how inhumanely Jews suffered, but this one day in 1967, this happens... it's insane. Whenever you feel down, remember what the Jews went through and you will learn the true meaning of patience and prayerfulness.

At the 00:50 mark, there is a map that shows Egypt, Israel, Jordan and Syria at the time of the 6-Day War.
I found it interesting that although Jordan occupied the eastern part of Jerusalem and what they termed the "West Bank", there is no indication of such in your map. Instead, it appears that Israel's borders were the Jordan River at the time of the 6-Day War.

From experience I know divine provenance when I see it. This victory was by divine provenance in spite of human logic.
It was absolutely wonderful when that happened but then Dayan stepped in to prevent the total victory and usher in eternal terror attacks by the Arabs.
