Huh? It took me almost 15 minutes plus to load into a Friday the 13th game
Thanks for all the lovely comments guys! I put blood sweat and tears into this one, trying to make sure it did justice to the amazing film and Wayne Bell's original pioneering score. The music's made from all kinds of crazy stuff - pigs, chainsaws, screams, metal scrapes, Moog synth, Soma Lyra touch sensitive drone machine and our secret sauce - the terrifying Apprehension Engine played by none other than Gun main dude Wes Keltner. All of this was then hammered into scary shapes and sculpted with layers and layers of distortion, tape effects and reverb... and goddamn was it a lot of fun :)
So this is what you were working on that you mentioned! Awesome work, with Wes' "Nightmare Machine" aka the Apprehension Engine combined together with your composing, this makes for a great industrial sound for the game, I love it!

If they are going to push towards the cinematographic feel of the game's process, I think that would have been genuinely astonishing. By that I mean the suspense, maybe the amount of autogenerated or unexpected events, that can change the way you should act and play, the amount of ways you could interact with all those shown environments, like climb on there, break this, open this door silently, because it creaks like -uck, hide under this thing or distract killer with something. If it's something in this direction then I'm all in!🔥🔥

That is a pretty good idea... to have random things happen around the map. Like a pot falling down, or a board creaks.. "becareful with the back door, it's super noisy". Stuff like that.. or little animals or sounds that stir up and catch a player off guard. I know in DBD they use environmental sounds occasionally that will kick in and they intentionally make it sound VERY close to what it would sound like if a survivor were running, or messing with stuff, so as the Killer, it forces you to look and get distracted. Texas Chainsaw could take all of this to the next level and evolutionize it.

Looks like a lot of fun I’m surprised how good it looks despite not being released this year but I know why it’s so you guys can add extra maps and more content on release so players don’t get burned out so fast
Just to walk around that property in the video game would be surreal. I’ve been to the actual location about 20 years ago and recognized the terrain, even though the house and buildings were gone.

there's very few trailers where you can actually feel the excitement radiating from the video editors themselves and this is one of them
Hopefully it will bring that customization option just like the Friday The 13th Game, with the look of Leatherfaces from all the movies and also choose some characters from the franchise. I think they're going to do a really good job as they were stopped from continuing the magnificent work they were doing with the Friday The 13th game halfway through.

Honestly shocked to hear the camera flashbulb sound isn't part of the main theme.
I didn't even realize that until I read this. I'm surprised about that too. I would've at least had it play once at the beginning, then just let it carry out as normal.
@@chaosrealmer3455 this is all still in development, but i can see the flashbulb playing whenever you select an option on the menu
@@idkissausername1667 That's probably why it's not in the Theme, because it'll play naturally and mix with the music well, when you're selecting things in menu.

I love the tone of this game's soundtrack, it's very ambient and... wouldn't you know it, uses sounds that mimic chainsaws.

Gonna be interesting to see how this one plays out, and I sincerely hope it lives up to the hype. Pretty sure this is the first asymmetric horror I've seen with more than one killer in play. Could be a real groundbreaker if it goes well!

You are the only modern company that i trust a good franchise to. You have over delivered on noatalgia to the point that the tcm theme is a banger. I cant wait to see any original content you make because you have earned the trust of fans. Im also looking forward to what you can add to the game as you aquire more rights to movies, but as far as im concerned any content you produce is canon. I want to see a movie including sissy or johnny. I am sure it would be better than the most recent tcm netflix movie.
