Nice to see someone with what felt like an honest opinion about a subscription box for once! I’m only just getting into fpv, and questioned the usefulness of all of the stuff you’d get in these things. Still think I’ll be giving them a miss when I can buy some equipment.

Use the long range antenna on your goggles to get signal above your head. Otherwise, send it to me, I need it (or put it in a give-away). I usually need specific items, not random items so this crate really isn't for me. Wouldn't be bad to have a spare frame waiting to take over for an older frame tho. This is like a sampler pack. I thought for sure there would be a t-shirt. Thank you for the review. Good info.

Hey Pepe' ,Hope you and yours had a great Independence day! The boxes are fun to get if you can afford to set parts aside and wait to use them. I just did my 1st Drone Drop, and luckily it was the month after they sent a bad frame, and a late one I think. Either way I got a pretty good deal because I needed the things most importantly, and I may have never tried some or the things. Generally I don't pay 75.00 for a frame, I definitely want to try a "premium frame" to see if their worth it. I think the tbs source 1/2 is considered a pretty good frame, think I'll try that one before I pay 75-100.
basically things that dont sell well at getfpv i would rather get one flight controller than all that stuff, i only fly ethix s3 props so those would be useless to me, 8 have 30 antennas 3 prop wrenches, and i fly 30$ alien RR5 frames only, stickers... keep them, would rather just have things that i know i can use or want

Always random. Size of your clothing item you do select when you sign up. I was surprised this was rhcp most boxes give you lhcp because they can get them cheep due to low popularity.

You have to have more cash then I do to be paying for stuff you may not be able to use. I think its more for the person that don't have to worry about money...
drone hound i agree and i think thats the hard part. 64 bucks for the unknown id more, i think, then the majority of people can do. Again it’s up to the individual but i like the full quad mystery kits

I was a little disappointed with the 1st crate. Nothing matched, freestyle, racing and long range stuff. I like the frame and dont mind getting stuff I wont use right away, eventually I'll use it. Woulda been happy with an axii I could use on my quads. No use for a vtx switch and I couldn't give the stickers away. Hoping the next crate will have stuff I'll use.
I've liked your channel and other reviews you've done, but I gotta say you're out of touch on this one. I signed up because I only have a 3" and a wanna be whoop right now. So, I don't already have a prop wrench. And I dont have a dozen 5" props....and all the boxes include them. They're samples for you to try. Everything in the box was Lumenier, their house brand. Every box from every company is a gamble. I think they knocked this one out of the park. That said, it will be hard to top next month......but what ever we get will be something that I don't have......so it will be another great box to me.
david Harris absolutely your right and i should have said as you mentioned for a new person this is a way to sample different brands. I’ll keep that point of view in mind as well on the next one! Thanks for your input my friend

@@jayward7536 probably very true. Hard to tell what is good though. Price? Reviews? F4 boards are 40 to 60 bucks.....is Emax better then HGLRC, better then Lumenier??? Emax gets a 3 star review because someone doesn't know how to solder, HGLRC a 2 star because they shipped a used bricked board and the replacement lasted 1 crash into a lake, but Lumenier gets 5 stars because the buyer used a 12% code to buy it.....?? Unless the opinion is yours, everyone elses is wrong. I spent $63 bucks for this box, and the frame is currently $75 on the website..... That's a deal in my opinion. The props are props, I had none, now I do. Same for the rest of it. I should say too, I'm a noob with quads, so I'm mostly interested in price so I can afford to stay in. I'm not racing. I'm not doing long distance HD video for broadcast. I can sacrifice some quality for price.
@@TheQuadcopterReview You may be right on point with the review once we see a couple more boxes, it just seemed kind of negative. One can definitely argue "how good is the stuff if they use site discounts to drive people to buy it?", but with the prices of quad parts, I'll jump on a 8% discount to save a couple bucks and maybe sacrifice quality. I'm probably gonna crash it and break it anyway.
David you would be better off spending the money you paid for this box and buying the things you need do your research and get decent products not a box full of random crap and stickers . Your just wasteing money. That frame is kinda old nothing i would buy the lumineer props are junk . They say that frame is 75 dollars maybe in there eyes its good carbon but for 75 bucks id rather have a catalyst machine works or hyperlow not a basic lumineer design . Do your research because you are being taken here i can buy all that stuff you have there for about 75 bucks from differant dealers getfpv is the highest priced place and i live down the street from them and dont use them that much

You get your value but im really not impressed with what they gave you its just like all the rest . I agree with you . That frame lol really they could have done alot better glad i didnt jump into the hype
i did not think it was worth it. those frames are out of date and over priced. now oi it had a more popular $60-$80 frame then hell yeah. lol those props suck too ahahahahah.
My silent thoughts as well. I have taken so much crap for not liking these boxes I may have dampened my comment on the frame i guess. They are just full of old un-wanted junk 90% if the time. If I still had the money I once had I would have tried to start a Budget Build Box. Everything you need to get the job done right at the best price. Just build and buy or add receiver. With goooood instructions. That's what I think new guys need. Not sketchy parts.
Box of leftover stock junk...that's why all "grab bag" boxes suck.
