F A D E D C U L T U R E.
Fading Steps:
1st step, guideline with zero (make sure it drops towards back)
2nd step, guideline with .5 (no guard lever open)
3rd step, guideline 1.5
4th step, 2.5 blend outwards
5th step, 3.5 & 4.5 blend outwards
6th, step clipper or shear over comb finish blending to top
7th, step blend out top guideline w/ 1.5 guard open to 3 qtr
8th step, blend second guideline w/ .5 guard open to 3 qtr
9th step, continue blending second guideline w/ 1 guard open to 3 qtr
10th step, blend first guideline w zero, lever closed
11th step, open lever half way, continue blending
12th step, continue blending with lever open
13th step, do any touch up work
14th step, use trimmers to take out bottom hair
15th step, use electric shaver

That's a beautiful process... thanks for the steps and inputs. I want to get into barbering class (Albany, NY) but I don't have the time with my current job. Someone suggested to jump into cosmetology in the meantime, suggesting i could use that license to cut and try more things with hair. I won't lie, but I have been thinking about it. I got the same clippers you got, including the electrical razor. I can see the difference between these and regular cheap line. I cut my brother in law's hair, mine, and one of my cousins comes from the city only for the haircut (and visiting)... thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!

Laying in bed this morning w/ my wife watching this video since she is giving me a cut this morning. Man we have watched all the big names for months on here but yours happened to be amongst the most detailed and you still manage to keep the video brief and to the point. Super helpful. Strongly considering the Zoom call. Wifey has almost turned into a pro over the year she has cut my hair but removing dark spots has not been perfected. Especially not like you even though I know you have years of experience. It’s like she just need to know what to do to get that perfection.

This barber is very professional 👍🏼 but whoever wishes to have that professionalism, work on that and you will reach your goal, but pay close attention to the movements of the hand while using the machine and the different sizes. There are things that you must do with your feeling and your hand drawing what you think. This is professionalism. I wish everyone success.
