Tips: 1. Don’t rub the perfume on your wrists together. 2. Spray from a reasonable distance and not too close to the skin. 3. Wear perfumes appropriate to the weather/location. If you wanna wear sweet perfumes during summer, wear it at night. And don’t wear too sweet powerhouse fragrances for dinners, or apply it sparingly. 4. Spraying your perfumes - 1 behind each ear, back of the neck, back of the shoulder blades. Avoid spraying on the chest and front of the neck since the skin on these areas are very sensitive. 5. Work fragrances - Don’t choke people out at work. Choose intimate fragrances with good longevity. Fresh and clean scents too. 6. For people with sensitive skin- Apply fragrances on your clothes.
So true about the restaurant scenario - years ago, on a date with my husband I put on a fragrance / when we got to the restaurant - I realized how not only did it affect how I could smell or rather NOT smell the full meal - the fragrance did not enhance the dinner. Since that time I never apply anything strong for dinner - but put it on after dinner.
Do you have a video on types of perfumes like best fresh & clean, sweet fruity, musky, or another scent category? And when to wear them…day/night and summer/winter etc?
Nice video and love your hair very pretty and the dress too. Very informative and learnt a lot of the best ways to apply your scents, need to do more of these. Thanks 🙏
Great review Melissa! My spraying routine is exactly the same as yours except I spray each shoulder instead of my shoulder blades. The reason I spray my shoulders is because I feel I leave a better scent trail when I walk past people. Keep up the great content! Shout out from Costa Rica 🇨🇷✌🏽
In my experience with perfume for hair… I have fine somewhat dry hair. So I never spray fragrance in my hair. However I will spray on my brush and let the alcohol evaporate and then brush my hair. But typically I use perfume for hair. Someone with more oily hair can get away more with spraying in the hair but it can be so drying. Bit I absolutely love hair perfume. :) As always, wonderful video.
Since I wear mostly body oils (they radiate their own scent and the sillage and projection is already high), I go lighter on the perfumes. One on each wrist and one behind the neck. Depending on the strength of the oil I'll add an extra wow factor for behind the ears.
I agree absolutely about behind the neck.. it gets in your hair a little and smells awesome for much longer… unfortunately, I can’t put it there like I used to… idk why but it breaks me out on my neck, my chest, my shoulders..😭 I literally can only do my wrist, arms and clothes.:( It makes me sad because I really do think it makes a big difference…
I sprayed a cedrat boise decant on a tester strip to show to my friend, then we eat lunch together, and I can't eat because of the scent going to the back of my throat. lol. I have to ask my friend to keep the tester strip to his pocket...😂
My mom has been complimenting my perfume since I've changed to this routine, and even my boyfriend who has a horrible sense of smell and can barely smell anything 😂

Thanks for the tips! You make a lot of sense and the analogies help me remember
I love all your analogies, they make the points more relevant and digestible :)

TY, I learned a lot from this video.
Yo this is so so so helpful
"They're just jealous because I'm wearing an expensive fragrance" 🤣🤣 I know some people who would say that.
Amazing 👏🏻 I love to learn about this kind of stuff, you’re very informative

Applying lotion to the areas I spray fragrances helped me with the itching / breaking out
Great content ❤
Dropping fragrance gems
Wow !!! Great educational video for me!!!
🤘🏽
i just bought my first 2 colognes , YSL La Nuit De L’Homme and a sample of TF Tobacco Vanille
Nice buys, I just got tobacco vanilla today 🫡
Just curious if it also leaves a scent trail if I spray it on my wrist?
Insightful 😎
🙌🏽
such good advise. What's the point of smelling good if you are just going to annoy people with it.
Since you talk a lot about hot weather can you do videos on good scents for hot weather and night time summer. Thanks
Next time I'm feeling freaky I'll spray my ankles LMAO
what if you apply lotion or sunscreen at the front of the neck then apply cologne
Number 2 rule got me😅
❤
Your funny😂. 👍🏻

"Cause it's gonna fuck up your makeup" Lol
I think elysium is a great work frag. Or pretty much any designer freshie. My work scent is GIT.
Carlisle for work is a nono
I go nose blind right off the bat.

I like your videos. Not telling you what to do but you would leave a classier impression by not using profanity. ❤
