You and Charlie are so tender with each other....I can feel the love from here! Delighted your dad doesn’t have dementia Debbie. Bet Andrew and Charlie missed you and you them! Good you get to spend some time with you parents and brother though. The gammon looked delicious 😋 xx
Thank you Lana xx I had a lovely time but was nice to be home again 😚
I’m glad it’s not dementia for your dad. My mum had it and it’s horrible to see this.i lost my mum last wed so we’re having a rough time this now. Hope you get all the help he needs Doris xx
Thank you Doris and I’m so sorry to hear about your mum xxx

Thank you Yvonne xx the gammon was delicious and I’ll be making it again too
You are doing a fabulous job Debbie, it can be upsetting seeing changes and slowing down in the people we love. My father was diagnosed with dementia last year, I have found that acceptance, patience and kindness helps us all through the difficulties and there are still wonderful days and memories to be made. 😊
Thank you Edel xx
You're a diamond xx
Thank you 😊 xx
That was cute Charlie's wingy cry to show you he will miss you xx
Debbie i know just how you feel when it comes to looking after parent/s . My late mum only lived round the corner from me and at times all she wanted was me to be round there all day and could,nt understand when i said i have other things in my life that need seeing to . You try your best to help and i used to get it thrown back at me no matter how much i tried but her mother was the same as me and had an independant life till she took ill where there was no option but to rally round and have her living with her two daughters till she died as she did,nt want to go in a home . I lost my mum 12 years ago next week and i sometimes sense she's still here around us all .
Thank you Carol it can be very difficult knowing what’s best xx
I have a mini mason jar 69p from pound stretcher which I carry dried skimmed milk powder in my handbag. I use it if a coffee shop dosnt have skimmed milk. 2 gorgeous meals at Dads And Mums xx good news not dementia perhaps that indicates the cognitive loss won't get any worse. You are my inspiration Debbie, I reached target last week when i also got greatest loser. 70 years old ,lost 6.5 stone in 16 months and now on the very difficult maintenance path. Xx love your channel xx
Thank you Jenny great idea and well done on target! Xx
