    Excellent
I think H-D should reintroduce little 2 stroke trail bikes like they had in the late 70's as well

I did a day at the Mick Extance Experience 3 years ago. They were using 250 KTMs at the time. Id never ridden off road at all and was very nervous. Mick and his team were brilliant and built up my confidence as the day went on. I binned it a few times and all they did was help me get upright and encourage me to have another go. As you said, i could not believe what i was riding, up, over, down and through by the end of the day.
That wasnt the most impressive thing i saw though. There were a couple of people whod never even ridden a motorcycle. They went off with an instructor at the beginning of the day and we didnt see them again until the end when they joined the rest of us riding a trail. Absolutely incredible.

Cool, he still runs an enduro school on the same site as the Harley Adventure Centre. That looks like a lot of fun, and Mick is such an excellent teacher!

Big adventure bikes are so heavy. Off-road? Not for me on one of these or others. My old DR250SH would be great.

surprisingly agile, I really enjoyed riding it off-road

I think this is what a CRF300L is for, with knobblies. If it gets dropped, it’s no problem to pick up. I’d be worried with the Harley which I see mainly as a road bike like the GS.

    • @mancavemoto

This day is to not only give an offroad experience, but also demonstrate where you can take these big bikes with just a little training. I didn't need to pick mine up, but if you do it with the right technique its very easy.......unless its in a ditch lol

  • @verdonrocksphotography3510

beautiful location and for sure proper way to learn the machine and mostly how to handle variety of terrain, excellent progression up forward in you content, Tony another impressive episode, cheers V!

I did that day just after you dropped this video. Had a ball. I was amazed by what the Pan America could do in a relative novice's hands. Mick is such a great teacher and ambassador for the bike. The scenery and roads in the area are stunning.

Excellent video 📹 Tony..it's probably reassuring for people to know these days are not too pressured, they are to be enjoyed. Mick is a bit of a hero of mine, as a Dakar fan. Last time I met him we chatted about the XR650R, I have one and he has good memories of riding one in the Dakar! It's great that after all he went through he is riding and passing on his incredible knowledge 👏. Cheers, Steve
