  • Canva is our FAVORITE online design program. It's easy to use, offers tons of free fonts and images, and now you can make SVG files with it!
In this tutorial, we share how to make your own SVG files using the Canva software. This is only available through their Pro account - you can get a free trial here - clarkscondense... (affiliate)

Thank you for sharing this little gem. I have a PRO account and wasn't even aware of the new SVG feature!

I created an svg through canva with 3 layers but when I upload it to cricut design space its not aligned on top of eachother and doesn't upload as pictured. How can I lock the svg so it uploads aligned? Thank you!

So when using a script font, can we merge them together inside Cricut Design so that the whole word are cut as one ?

Hello, I created an svg with multiple elements and imported some of my own . When i export it as an svg and upload it to design space it mixes all my elements even though i grouped them on canva. do you know if there a work around this issue?? Or am i doing something wrong :( Your feedback is appreciated. Thank you.

    Amazing video....
By the way, I am new to canva and I want to download additional canva elements or other things from the internet and edit it's colors in canva just like we edit native canva elements. Is that possible?

Hi there! So when I download as an SVG some of them are kind of funky when I upload to Cricut. For instance, some downloaded as an SVG only allow me to 'print and cut' rather than do a normal vinyl cut. Like... there is not even an option for basic cut- it only shows print and cut. Do you know why that may be?
Also, is there an option of Canva that automatically flattens the image?
Thank you so much in advance!

Great video! I am going to sell planner pages on Etsy which I've created in Canva. Tell me please, do I have to download it also as SVG? I mean printable files should be in CMYK colours.
