- Canva is our FAVORITE online design program. It's easy to use, offers tons of free fonts and images, and now you can make SVG files with it!
In this tutorial, we share how to make your own SVG files using the Canva software. This is only available through their Pro account - you can get a free trial here - clarkscondense... (affiliate)
Thank you for sharing this little gem. I have a PRO account and wasn't even aware of the new SVG feature!
same here, why doesn't Canva share such wonderful news! Maybe in the newsletter I'm not subscribed too, ahha!
This was great! So quick and easy
My design just opens up as a bunch of squares in design space. How do you fix this?
Thanks
Any advice on how to convert to svg without paying the membership fee of canva? Im a stay at home mom so im not making that monthy yet
I created an svg through canva with 3 layers but when I upload it to cricut design space its not aligned on top of eachother and doesn't upload as pictured. How can I lock the svg so it uploads aligned? Thank you!
So when using a script font, can we merge them together inside Cricut Design so that the whole word are cut as one ?
You should be able to!
Hello, I created an svg with multiple elements and imported some of my own . When i export it as an svg and upload it to design space it mixes all my elements even though i grouped them on canva. do you know if there a work around this issue?? Or am i doing something wrong :( Your feedback is appreciated. Thank you.
Amazing video....
By the way, I am new to canva and I want to download additional canva elements or other things from the internet and edit it's colors in canva just like we edit native canva elements. Is that possible?
After i download the SVG File and then when i open it up it does not show all letters. Do you know why?

I want to download game of thrones elements from the internet and change their color in canva
Hi there! So when I download as an SVG some of them are kind of funky when I upload to Cricut. For instance, some downloaded as an SVG only allow me to 'print and cut' rather than do a normal vinyl cut. Like... there is not even an option for basic cut- it only shows print and cut. Do you know why that may be?
Also, is there an option of Canva that automatically flattens the image?
Thank you so much in advance!
Same thing i don’t know whyyyy !!! Sadest thing ever
When uploading to design space, I get an error message that the svg is an unsupported svg type. What does this mean??? Help
Same!! I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong
Same problem! And then it's just blank.
What font did you use? I have pro and I can’t find that one.
Having an issue with saving the svg and uploading it to design space. For some reason everything isn't grouped together like shown it was downloaded.
I'm having the same issue
Maybe try locking 🔒 on canva before downloading? I'm going to try that lol
@@Mariatrieseverything did that fix it for you
@@JT-vn2rl did you find a fix?
once you get the picture in cricut, it is in a bunch of pieces. How do i get it to be all one piece?
Currently having this issue! did you find a fix?
are you clicking Attatch or combine in Design Space? to hold the images in place
Great video! I am going to sell planner pages on Etsy which I've created in Canva. Tell me please, do I have to download it also as SVG? I mean printable files should be in CMYK colours.
@@chaosinthecoophomestead How such a PDF can be modified if it is pdf?
