how could you not like Nevermore? They been around for freakin century... LOVED THEM SINCE Sanctuary!!!! AHHH LEGENDS
The intro riff along with the melody that kicks in is just incredible. Legendary song by a legendary band that revolutionized the use of 7-string electric guitars.
R.I.P Nevermore. You will be missed.
this is more melodic stuff than I'm used to hear from them...... I love how their melodies have chromatic progressions where you least expect them, but still keep a warm aura overall...... this band is absolutely amazing....
This song never ever gets old.......
Love it. first time i saw these guys live i hadent heard of them... go figure, i end up buying this album first and from there is a collection.
I just love the smartly put small solo in the start
this song is so beautiful.....that it makes me cry....and the solo.......it makes this kind of music come to life....idk...its..just so fucking beautiful...
No words... A Masterpiece!
OMG, just came back from their concert. What an awesome night!!! NEVERMORE!!!
I saw Nevermore live at Metalfest in Pilsen in Czech Rep. Never heard of them before but they were great.
So my father tolld me about this band he liked as he was younger and here i am hearing the musik he rocked back then🔥
This for is one this bands best songs. Full of hard emotion, with out being over powering. Brilliant stuff.
Gentlemen; can't we just cool it and listen to the music?
Nevermore is perhaps my favorite band ever, and I really like this song and Medicated Nation the best.
Great song. Great Nevermore
They collected my heart with this song. Cheers.
My personal favorite, from this awsm band
Bad ass band that has produced many legendary guitar players...Jeff Loomis,Chris Broderick,Pat O'Brien and soon to be legend Attila Voros...
my favorite nevermore song, guitar solo amazing!
This solo is unbelieveble.
Kerry is a great rhythm guitarist, he rarely plays solos and comes up with incredibly tough sounding, deep, and badass riffs.
I would have loved to see Jeff and Chris writing an album together. Such a corroboration between two of the most talented guitarists out there, would have been amazing.
that song affects me... wonderful
This song is my favvvvvooooriiitteeee.

When I found out Loomis and Williams left Nevermore, I played this song on my speakers at full volume, as I mourned the passing of Nevermore as we know it.
So underappreciated
i love the way musice makes me! think poetry in a dark way!
god damn i love that solo

This inspired me to write a horror story about a man who's missing another part of himself everytime he wakes up.
i am sure they are gonna come back with an smashing album! just need to wait thou....

You guys have favorite Nevermore songs? Jeez, I can hardly decide which is my favorite! So many songs speak to me, evoke my emotion and at the same time make me headbang like crazy. I just wanna raise my fist to a band thats been making beautiful metal that will surely stand the test of time. RIP Nevermore.

..I just wanna be loved..
this amazing song gets my first comment on youtube
Nevernore forevermore!!
for some reason this reminds me of "ground control to major tom"
Goddamn you bloody teenagers. I mean, technically I'm a teenager, but I kind of live under a rock. I just heard of Nevermore for the first time last night. Sentient 6..Amazing song. I love it. I'm obsessed. This band sounds amazing..
And right when I start loving things, those things are already ending. Fuckin eh!
Everyday, I feel like I just woke up from a three year coma. Fuck.
I saw them live in Amsterdam aswell, 18-3-2011
Nevermore /m\
was gonna go see these guys on the 23rd of June 2011, the news that loomis and williams split pissed me off so bad.
Listen to This Godless Endeavor... the whole album. It's awesome!
This Is The Fucking Jam!!!!
Great!!
this song reminds me of the southpark episode where stans becomes emo and starts wearing a nevermore shirt.
It would be cool if Jeff and Chris collaborated on an album. Something similar to Cacophony.
And once more 0:00...Badass song
One of my favorite Loomis solos. Along with Engines of Hate. And anything on ZOP.
I agree!
To throw something worthy into this discussion: try out "Believe in Nothing" for a song similar to this one. For harder stuff try out "Inside for walls", "The Termination Proclamation!".... but the best one (in my opnion) is "Emptiness Unobstructed".
This song is fucking awesome
Heart collector = dead heart in a dead world, not in memory.....FUCKING GOOD SONG!
wow..you scared the hell out of me.. should i cry now?? ,,l.,
Neverore = best progressive metal band
@death66663 they are also pretty much one of the most technical bands ever.
3:45 Amazing solo
OLIVER HERBERT MY FUCKING IDOL!!!!!!! hes fucking insane at everything. He doesnt even use half his skill in ATR. You probly wont believe that he came to one of my bands practices the other day
@MrAmanitaMuscaria man, there are way too less people who understood that one XD you made my day =D
@ozzman6988 as they stated 'due to internal struggles and ongoing issues within the band'.I'm pretty sure that jim and warrel want to to follow more mainstream paths (I think its obvious on obsidian..) but jeff and and van disagreed. It's kind of ironic because this was the same reason jim and warrel left sanctuary.
@givemeajackson Yes and what is so sad about it. He is still alive. If you like his music, look forward to what he will do. I do not have any problem with him leaving, as there was no innovation lately.
@dehdehderzz that is a very true point
Well... That escalated quickly.
Yea him too
fucking solo amazing
Foi em 2001, brother, eu também estava lá, foi do caralho!
Well for starters, the early Nevermore albums are pretty good. Politics of Ecstacy is a pretty great album check out "Seven Tongues of God". Everything after 2000 is deadly 7 string stuff. Check out 'Enemies of Reality' the title track alone has amazing riffs in it. This Godless Endeavor is widely considered to be their best album, check out "The Psalm of Lydia" and "My Acid Words". And finally "The Obsidian Conspiracy", The opener "The Termination Proclamation" is my favourite track, amazing!
by the way..even if you don't want to..i'll have you agree with me that Hans Zimmer, Zach Hemsey, Thomas J. Bergensen, and Adrian Von Zeigler are all EPIC...(>.
@muhannadsarhan Other than the vocals, the style is similar but kudos to them, that doesn't take they are pretty good.
n-ice!!!!!!
all songs are completely sick and unique from any band. although i suggest you start with their first album and work your way to newer albums.
fucking GODLIKE!!!!!!!!
Seeing Nevermore live performance of the heart collector is a forever memory burned into my minds eye. Thank you for the years of music entwined with my being. Warrel Dane forever.
