      That surprises me too everytime I see a video of a Scamp. I am finalizing a Pocketship these days and (of course) thinking about a new project. That could very well be a Scamp.

    This is way late, but I enjoyed your video very much! I initially thought you were sailing in Central or Northern California as the land looks very similar. I am certainly looking at getting a Scamp in a year or so for sailing the San Francisco Bay and the Sacramento delta,

    Beautiful, relaxed sailing on the Scamp! As a recent Scamp owner on the other side of the globe (in Finland), I wondered what that white rope is that goes up alongside the halyard along the sail? My rigging instructions do not include such a rope. What is its significance? And what about that piece of rope reinforced with leather that ties the boom to the mast? What is the use of that?
