Cheers! This is my favorite twist out of yours! ❤ I am back to twa length, myself. Due to crown breakage, I had to cut all of my hair. I have so many products in my stash that I find myself experimenting everyday, but my favorites lately are the Mielle Mint Almond Oil, Shea Moisture Virgin Coconut Oil serum, Cantu Raw Hemp Butter, Hairizon custom Shea butter mix with jasmine, emu oil, & frankincense, Dax Beeswax with Royal Jelly, Kuza JBCO leave in, Shea Moisture Kids leave in, Melanin Haircare leave in, Soultanicals, Knot Butta, and Strands of Faith Holy Grail Twisting Butter. Butters do a really good job defining my hair, so I do either chunky plaits or twists, which I’ll leave in overnight; then, I’ll either wear it out, or put it back into chunky plaits or twists, until wash day. I must say, I’m enjoying my new hair growth journey. Happy growing!🎉

I looked at your hair and saw 3c. It looks different textures worn up and down. But it is gorgeous thru and thru. You won the hair lotto. I feel that way too but I don't get the volume in the front like you do. It's is beautiful. I'm flat and a looser wave. But my back is full volume at the ends not the scalp. I love how Yah made us all difference. But you have inspired me to come out of my ponytails and puffs. I'm lucky actually blessed to still have edges. Tip: since you helped me. Cream your edges regularly in the front or gel or mousse them. put a satin scarf around them like a headband afterwards. It will train your edges to lay flat and look silky. That edge wax, throw that away. My edges are all one length.
Yes I've been playing with mousse on my edges too but I use edge control when I don't feel like tying down my edges. I don't always have time for that lol

I don't own bonnets and I braid my hair at night and wear a 4 inch wide satin scarf on my edges then it's a satin pillowcase. My edges are beautiful. I pay the most attention to them. I haven't mastered my natural hair yet to wear it down. So I do loose ponytails, puffs and braid-outs. It won't twist, way too soft and the scalp portion is flatter than the ends. You are inspiring because it looks like your hair after a braid out.

I have switched my routine from weekly to biweekly and have been incorporating humectant water and more protein in my routine. My hair has grown and it has evolved so i have to incorporated more length retention measures to keep my length and health while advancing my growth.
Are you 4a or 4b? At first I thought you were joking. My hair looks like yours dry but not wet. It completely flats than waves to a curl. I enjoyed watching you. It's beautiful the diversity of black hair and your hair is gorgeous. Might be the porosity difference too.
I honestly don't really ascribe to the hair typing system outside of generally saying i'm Type 4. I don't think it actually matters but i'm probably 4a/4b if I had to guess.

I know you noted that you didn't retwist but would the day 5 retwist be considered a retwist or maybe not because it's not as small as well as not done daily? I loved the way you layered the products for moisture and how you demonstrated the way you use oil ❤ it's the balance!!!
