  • Beast VS Deadmeat V2. Not a real Comprehensive Comparison here guys I just want to see how they fly for me. I Really wasn't shooting good at first today guys but I left those shots in to keep me honest. After Shooting the Practice heads some, they both fly pretty good for me. I'll be hopefully getting to try one or both in the field this year to see how they really perform in a hunting scenario!

So you did a comparison of two broadheads, and never used the broadheads? That’s a good review right there

As an old old bow hunter using fixed blade heads only for over 50+ years I have never seen the need to use any mechanical head. Other than “ I just want to” there’s no physical reason to use them. IMO, they have become popular because so many “ hunters?” don’t know about how to tune a bow and arrow combo or they are lazy. Mechanical heads won’t gain you accuracy. Fixed blade heads can be tuned to be deadly accurate way out past what should be considered an ethical kill shot distance. There’s nothing to fail on a fixed blade head. I don’t understand why people take a chance after spending all the money, time, sweat etc etc on a broadhead that can easily fail. It’s not logical.

@@BroadheadsAndBobbers yea, there are couple that have peaked my interest seeing them on Lusk adventures where he tests them in the dumbest ways, lol. I’ve thought about trying the better built most simple ones on pigs to see if they can hold up to hitting and cutting through a boar’s shoulder. Maybe a doe but not on a buck I consider a shooter.

@@BroadheadsAndBobbers👍. Something that may help is watching the learning videos on “ bow only outdoors “ channel. If you would seriously try what he shows for a few hundred shots you won’t believe the positive results downrange. What happens later after you’ve learned to just pull thru the shot is breaking the shot becomes an almost automatic process. You will be able to focus your eyes and mind downrange on the spot you want to hit and at the same time you have already begun to load up the trigger by pulling straight back until the shot breaks. You will develop timing on the break as the pin has settled into its smallest floating pattern. You may not hit dead center but you will be a better shot because you are in control. There’s no more driveby hammering the trigger. What’s happened is you are in control. And shooting becomes so easy and way more enjoyable. It’s kinda like shooting a recurve- the feeling of just pull it back and let it fly. It almost feels that way. Anyway, 👍👍 & GOOD LUCK!
