    Nice video. I just bought a similar one, used, with about 14K miles on it. Mine is 061/750. I agree with all your "positives", mainly the ride which has just enough vibration to give you that feel you're riding a motorcycle. As far as the negatives, I would agree with the seat not being comfortable after 2 hours riding. However, I always try and take a break after 1.5 or 2 hours of riding. Tires are OK, I guess. I have Continental but not sure if those are the same as the stock tires that come on the V7. All in all, this is probably one of the most fun bikes I've owned in the past 20 years (I had 8 other bikes, different styles).

      From all the reviews ppl seem to hate both tires the same. The tires are so small that there is only like 1 good tire I can't remember what brand it might be the Continental dragons? But the V7 came stock with continental stock before 2020 & switched to Dunlap crap I have on. I have so many side projects going on I just ride the bike A-B right now & no more then 30 mile trips I haven't really thought about tires & seat much. I did just take a 28.9 mile ride & my son with with me & couldn't wait to get off.lol.. thanks for the view & comment & cool to here what # ppl have I heard from about 10ppl with our # series its real cool

    Great! I took a v7 III used as my first bike, even here in Italy you see few Guzzis, they build a few, they are handmade one by one, they are unique, for better or for worse

    Dude, a tip about the seat. About 25 years ago I did a 3 day tour of the Pyrenees on a Kawasaki ZZR600. On the first day my backside and thighs were in torment. I couldn't figure it out. It turned out that it was down to the jeans I was riding in. When after the tour I changed my denims for a set of purpose built leather motorcycling jeans, the problem disappeared.

      I only wear 2 pants now while I ride. But I was talking to a guy that had a bead patch seat. Like In your car. I can’t remember the name of website it’s like bead rite? Or something. He said get the wood & not the hard plastic. Because the plastic heat up in the sun.

    I was thinking about this bike, and your pros got me going, but man, the negatives really added up. Thanks a lot. I don’t think I’ll be getting a 2020, that’s for sure.

    I'm in NZ i get my parts from europe or usa Online parts are easy too order as i dont have a dealer within a thousand kilometers i just have my oil and air filter ready in my garage for doing my next oil change, your right the suspension is shocking a matris fork kit and yss rear shock set will blow your mind not your wallet. p.s save your ass its like riding a horse brace tank with your knees and keep pressure on pegs hands loose on handlebars. Thanks for the tip on keeping tank clean! Ride safe.

      Mate...just got a V7III Special 2017...was surprised at how bad the shocks were on my first couple of rides...stuffed my back...but then I hadn't ridden for a while and started to chill. Now I ride every day after work on truly awful Northland roads .. I had to laugh about riding a horse...yep..but same with those animals, I've already learned to relax and everything is better for me and what I'm riding. Which strangely includes a stuffed shoulder which has pained me badly for 18 months. Pain gone. Motorcycling on an MG cures pain. Oh yeah...in the 80s I rode a V50II all around the UK and to Israel later as a bit of OE. So my new bike is a gorgeous memory. With Custom Chambers cans. Sounds wicked mate. Ride safe dude.

    Just out of curiosity: what tires do you use now? You mention you don’t the like “the tires” and I think you mean the stock tires right? What would you recommend for tires? Cool video, I love my 2021 V7

    • @eboz3213

      I’m going to go with the Continental attack 3. They have a about a 6k life from what I’ve been told. I have the stock crap dunlap .I put 2600 miles on the bike this year so for me I will spend the money to have the grip I want. I really like the 2021 v7. But I love love the 2020. Except the tires.

    Parts are insanely expensive and im luck a MG dealer is in town otherwise finding anything can be a pain. seriouly thinkin of switching to Triumph Bonne T100.

    I'm trying to decide between a Kawasaki w800 and a Guzzi V7 stone. The perk of the MG is that I love the character and also have a dealer 10 min away. Coming from a Harley I think it would be my type of bike. The Kawasaki obviously have the reliability point but then again I want to feel the character of the bike I ride

    • @eboz3213
      @eboz3213  Před 2 lety

      The MG are real reliable. Easy to work on if you have any idea about mechanics.the Kawi is nice & I mention it in the IMS on the kawi test ride that the guide has one & he loves his. I just thought it looked like a old man bike & it sits high to me. I don’t think you will regret either bike. I do think the MG will hold its valve better because of how few are made & dealers in the USA though..thanks for the view & comment.

      Go Guzzi. Those Japanese bikes look decent, but they get sterile after a short while.

    Well nice video but my concern is how. Expensive parts are ? I mean clutch pads, brake pads, light bulbs. Things that gets used and we have to replace them at some point
