How I Bleach My Roots at Home

  • Hi everyone💞 In this video I show you guys how I retouch my roots at home using bleach. It has been 2 months since I first bleached it, and I had about an inch of new growth. I used L’Oréal’s Quick Blue bleaching powder & Salon Care’s 30 volume developer.
After applying the bleach, I left it in for another 10-15 min. You shouldn’t have to leave it on too long, because your roots process faster due to the heat coming from your head. I did not use toner this time. For now, I plan to dye my roots every 1-2 months until I want to grow the color out. Let me know if you have any questions.💖

Lmaoo, I feel you on the hair shrinkage problems! I wish mine would stay long instead of looking like I cut my hair

Consider bleaching it all again to have a really nice blond color. And you look gorgeous 😙

How do you maintain the blonde in your hair ? What products do you use for shampooing and conditionings

If my hair is not in a protective style, I try my best to wash my hair every week. Every time I wash my hair I deep condition & oil my scalp before I style. I’m currently using the tgin sulfate free shampoo and the emerge deep conditioner.

@@beautyofbri okay so update 🤣 I did it but my colors accidentally blended when I washed 😣 I did red on bottom and ginger on top. So my red slightly overpowered my ginger! 🥺

I think the perimeter may still be black because of the Vaseline. The bleach can't penetrate the hair if there's Vaseline on it. That happened to me 😬 but it still looks pretty 😍
