Slow Cooker Beef Tips and Rice
Ingredients
2 pounds beef stew meat
1 (10.75-ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
1 (1.61-ounce) packet brown gravy mix (see note)
1 beef bullion cube
1 cup water
1 small onion chopped
Instructions
Combine the ingredients in the bowl of a 4-quart slow cooker and mix to combine. Cook covered on low for 7 to 8 hours. Serve over hot white rice.
Notes
*If you can't find the larger packet of brown gravy mix (one that makes 2 cups of gravy) then you can use two smaller packets.
*Find the gravy too thin? Simply mix 1 tablespoon of cornstarch with 2 tablespoons of cold broth or water in a small bowl. Stir the mixture into the slow cooker. Cover and increase the heat to high for about 20 minutes or until the sauce has thickened. - Jak na to + styl

Ha! Thanks! Low for 6 to 8 hours.
What can I use if I don’t have a beef bullion cube?
You can simply leave it or use beef broth instead of water.
My family HATES mushrooms but I love them. Could I get away with sneaking the mushroom soup in without them detecting it?
My guess is, yes. They sort of cook to pieces.

You remind me of Alton Brown!👍
Thanks, Fatima! I'll certainly take that as a compliment!
Funny! 😃
2 hours? 9? Sheesh!
great video and a good recipe but yes there is a but.... the searing absolutly cannot be left out one huge point for doing so is to prevent the beef from basically coming apart during the long slow cooking process. sear your meat people its been done for generations for a reason.
While searing meat does help develop flavor and texture through the Maillard reaction, it’s doesn’t really do much else. The meat falling apart has more to do with the temperature that the meat is cooked to. Once beef reaches an internal temp of 205 degrees, the connective tissues break down and the meat falls apart.
And u didn't say anything about fixing the rice. Bc I don't know how to fix rice
Different types of rice have different cooking instructions. You should be able to find cooking instructions right on the package.
No butcher available!
