Genesis locomotive 61 has a beautiful K5LA horn equally as beautiful as sister engine number 59, which also occasionally pulls the Texas eagle
Unfortunately, 59's horn just got replaced with a raised letter K5LA. 63 sounds lovely too.
@@DeepChillWolf that’s rather unfortunate but what is very interesting is that I know when either engines 56 or 69 are leading the Texas Eagle just by listening to the sound of their horn 56 is very easy to tell because she has a hybrid K5LA horn and the horn on 69 has a very distinctive sound. You would be able to recognize it easily both engines, 56 and 69 or probably the regular Genesis locomotives assigned to the Texas eagle for now. At least it won’t be like this forever I’m going to enjoy it while I can.

Amazing catches! I loved railfanning all over town w/ you and seeing lotta cool stuff too.
I took the TRE on june 16th(I spent most of the day riding the M-line trolleys).
