Non sapevo che Rossini avesse scritto il balletto il barbiere di Siviglia! Una volta conoscevo un pezzo simile dove ci volevano pure delle voci per cantarlo oggi invece degli acrobati circensi,solo che il circo e' molto meglio!!!

The voice is not in a good position and dont have the depth I would like to hear. So much nasality I hear, the voice is resonating in the head cavities that is ok but mostly the nasal cavities so you can say that is the position of Mask but there is no any colors any tasteful sound there and there is no dark material which is a bariton must have. I would like to hear some chest voice mixed with head resonance. That's all my opinion as a opera listener. btw I didn't like the choreography too.

@@buddys_dad List yours. One does not need to be a professional opera singer to have an opinion on this singing. One needs only to have a pair of ears and an appreciation for the art form. Some people hear this singing and do not hear baritonal color or warmth and richness in the tone. You're just as welcome to YOUR opinion as they are.
Not keen on the choreography! Overdoing the comedy. Watch Herman Prey on his video of The Barber. It IS perfect for me, as a non singer just as a lover of the Opera! Plus, the inimitable Dmitri Horostovsky in concert performing this is AMAZING!
The days of park and bark are over. Modern opera productions require singers who can act and move.

You typify the clueless, low-standard bad taste of today’s opera audience. You pay to watch Eurotrash and Gelb’s HD movie theater trash and you are impressed. This guy [a tenor, by the way] couldn’t kiss the asses of the likes of Gobbi, Prey, Bastianini, Milnes,Merrill,
Taddei, MacNeill, Quilico, Colzani, Elvira, Manuguerra, Cappuccilli and on and on. They will be remembered long after this lightweight fades.
All the people who are falling over themselves to praise this performance, probably have never heard a great performance. It's so uneven, and just weak, and jumping around doesn't make it better. A nightclub performer, maybe. Or a cruise ship singer. There are great singers around, he's not one of them in this performance.
Singing good. Acting as directed dire. Scenery irrelevant.
