New land mine pull exercise - better than bench pull

  • Here ive used a Plyo box to lean onto which helps create a better body position to better simulate a kayak pull.
    The weight of the end of Landmine needs to be on behind your front foot. It may take a couple of practice strokes/pull to find the right position.
    Give this exercise is unilateral, standing and closer to the pull of the Kayak stroke. I would rate this as a better exercise as the bench pull as heavy loads and full shoulder extension can still be achieved which no risk of lower back hyper extension under heavy load
