- This is a hyper pop tutorial in FL Studio 20 where I show you an easy formula you can follow in order to make virtual hyper pop type beats for artists like Lil Uzi Vert, SoFaygo and Pop Hunna. Once you get the proper chord progression down, I find everything comes together a lot easier.

Hey man! This is very cool! Would maybe not call it Hyperpop, maybe more like Virtual? Hyperpop is more like p4rkr, 100 gecs, Glaive and such, but really nice video!
I feel like the melody and sound design is similar in both of these 'hyperpop's, I really like both styles. I reckon this should be called hypertrap or hyperhop cause it is often very different vocals, but similar production but honestly I don't mind ppl calling it hyper pop.
i think when people use hyperpop for these type of beats they’re referring to star boys producer group which is called hyperpop, which makes most of the melodies you hear on uzi songs

Yeah, check the pinned comment. I had this video completed on Feb. 5th and there's proof linked in the pinned comment. It's likely Ocean and I were just following the same formula, the common chord progression used in these beats isn't a secret.

while it is repetitive i think it kinda suits the style. if you think about it a lot of beats are repetitive without rap vocals. BUT, think about it, if all beats were packed with sounds and random shit all the time, what can the rapper do?
