I only started watching MLS after Messi joined and after Inter Miami's first match I kept saying their defense is Abysmal. Messi can't save them every single time, they need to improve defense. Whatever Messi has lost in speed he has made up for in smarts and his intelligence was already off the charts. If you look at 19-24 yr old Messi was so unbelievably freakily fast. The speed in which he could sprint with the ball and without losing control or having it go too far ahead of him was crazy. But now he is exactly in the right spot at the right time with the right reads, and the timing on his passes and runs has not declined. His accuracy hasn’t decreased…the only thing is his speed and power have gone down “a little bit,” but he’s gotta be 1-2 still in the world. Definitely top 3.

Guys what are we talking about here? Do people realized that Inter Miami was the worst team a few weeks ago? This team just had the best player in the word and is changing the narrative. Even when they will loose against other team it will not change the story. The only comparison that could be made so far is when Maradona played for Napoli.
