seems like a good game but the players move lik robots and the ball is too floaty. still don't like the pitch seen from normal distance

Regarding the players, I find fifa players to move more like robots (especially when running). In pes, their movements are much more realistic

It's so impressive how much pes improves every year. This year looks amazing so polished only thing fifa has over pes now is fut and licenses it's only a matter of time until pes becomes dominant again. Great video can't wait to play this masterpiece

I'm so glad corner kick options are available for free kicks. In real life there is a lot of goals which came from indirect free kicks headers, but in pes 2016 it was difficult to score because the players just stood still.

Nope ! Konami said they were always working on 3 years spans. We can see it as PES 2008-2010 share nearly the same gameplay and design etc. PES 2011 is the base of the gameplay with different variatons between the 2012 and the 2013. While it's obious that 2014 was a crash test or an alpha version for PES 2015 on PS4. If you take 2015 to 2017 they are essentially the same. And for having played PES 2018 it's the beggining of the new cycle.
PES has always had realistic gameplay animations from day one look at how the players strike the ball? the most realistic ball kicking animations in a video game exactly like real life

Pes 5 was the best this looks impressive graphics wise
Saqib Munir PES 5 was absolutely awesome and hard to score goals, as you really had to work for it and look for the openings. when you did score, you know it was down to an absolutely brilliant piece of play and you could actually defend just as effectively as attacking. you couldn't just tackle and win the ball, you had to read the game, cover and cut out passing lanes of the opposition. tackles are only last ditch moves that have a low success rate. intelligent defending isn't just about tackling, but reading play, intercepting a pass, covering and marking attackers etc. PES 5 for the balance so right and it was such a rewarding game when you pulled off a great piece of defending or worked the ball forward and unlocked the opposition defense.

JKILLA : :v Sorry bro, I'm not a PES fan, just a football fan and I actually spent more time to play Fifa than PES. ^^ Year over year, EA turned our ideas about soccer game by their incredible graphic, realistic animation and many other aspects but as you can see, KONAMI have also changed to prepare for the return. The graphic was developed so much, smooth animation, more likely player faces, exciting spectators on the stands. It's fantastic. I've watched both trailer of FIFA and PES and I just think that PES is not worse than FIFA, even better than FIFA. Anyway, they are worth to play. :))

But one question regarding freekicks: Are they to easy to score? And is it possible to just learn how much power you give and how you have to hold the stick to score from certain positions or is there some sort of randomness factor so that you could do the excact same thing (aim, power, position, player) but the ball flies a little bit different and maybe not even go in (in real life Messi also doesn't always score from the same position^^) I hope there is a little bit randomness in the shots otherways it would be too easy.
