- Merak is a settlement in the far east of Bhutan. It is located in Trashigang District. The community is predominantly the Brokpa ethnic group. Until 2012, Merak could only be reached from a two-day hike. In 2012 a new road was constructed that shortened the hike to one day. According to local legend, the surrounding valley is inhabited by Yeti.
Denkars Getaway takes you around Merak in 3days.
Background music is just ok, tetetettttteeeeeettete

Who is city you biling kiya hai 👍 bhut barhiya।
God sent me to Bhutan to forget about the whole world and every thing else. But I made the blunder of misinterpreting that message and leaving the only heaven on earth and got drowned in the garbage of the so-called modern world. I pray to God now to forgive me and resend me back there only to breathe my last there , not to go to heaven but to remain in heaven there.
Hey friends. Am from southern india, wish to live & rest my life with bhutan people. Can someone help me on this.

Amazing ❤️
Kinzang Dorji thank you 😊
I'm glad you've gotten much better at audio mixing compared to your earlier videos, but I still have to turn the volume up to hear you when you are speaking, and back down to not wake up the neighbours with the music when it is playing. Remember that the focus on the videos is what you have to say about the places that you are visiting, and when you aren't speaking the focus is still on the visuals, what we can see of the places you are visiting. It is definitely much better than earlier videos, but the music can still be quieter even when it is the only thing playing. Don't be scared to push the music further into the background; it is pretty, but not important.
Abeoma Thank you .
I have definitely learnt a lot compared to day one of my vloglife. I have noted your comment on background score. Thank you .
Stay tuned for more 🙌🏻🙌🏻
I really miss my home😭😭😭
Naice your voice
Hi! Is there a car road to Merak? How far is it from Tashigang?
Why in no where in many Bhutanese official website, blogs or vlogs refers to them as Monpa. The red dress is a sign of being Monpa who belongs to Tsona. Bhutan official records and people to refers to them as Brokpa but it is just a term for their occupation like carpenter, driver, etc. Just a question as I myself is a Monpa from Tawang. Same goes for Dzala too.
I love Brokpa..
Merek area people's R using Sherchopa language Am I right
We have the same-named village called along Pangong Tso lake of Eastern Ladakh called Man - Merak. Our dialects are almost similar.
Hi brother! What about dress? And you mean Tsangla or sharchokpa language of eastern bhutan?
Waiting for more videos. Been a month or so .. 😁

Hi sister, can you tell me what language merak people speak?
BROKPA is a community in Ladakh India..
Nope! It's actually monpa but brokpa is term for semi-nomads
@@Tchoden.namgyal___ ya may be..
But in Ladakh Brokpa means the peoples who leaves in the mountains...
Brokpa is a tibetan word for nomadic people.
Both Brokpas of Ladakh and Eastern Bhutan are unrelated and have name for themselves.
Brokpa is just a term imposed by others.
@@ErenYeager-jp4gcHow about DROKPA!! I’m confused with this two words “DROKPA & Brokpa!!!
If u give subtitle for local dialect then it will bloom
